Oh, I love the mental image your description of the last little bit when the transfiguration wore off gave me! I like how you're going slow with Harry's responsiveness to his new environment... that's very realistic, and I like also how Snape is still the snarky, impatient fellow he is in canon, but is making a conscious effort to act with patience and even understanding as Harry begins to learn how to live outside of his cage. Nicely done!
I read it again...and I still wish for more! :) lol...I like this story

VERY GOOD STORY! Please update soon, I can hardly wait to find out what happens next! Oh can you please have Severus be Harry's real dad, and have Harry use a lot of powerful accidental magic in unexpected incidents? It would be fun to read! harry could make stuff animals come to life or something! LOL!
