A very interesting story, very different to the other HP fanfics I've read. In parts, it reminds me strongly of Torey Hayden's books. I'll be waiting for updates, can't wait to see what happens next. And I simply love Snape! Well done, keep it up :)

I thought Dusty was great. I'm kind of surprised that Severus watches tv, but other than that I liked this chapter. I hope you update soon. I hope Harry learns to talk soon.

I love that this story is being written again. Am looking forward to the next parts. The house elf cracked me up - am surprised that Snape allows that kind of familiarity. Shows that he has a sense of humor, that's for sure!
oh i love dusty already, he is so funny, i hope severus can deal with harry and give him a nice and stable home life, he does seem to be doing a great job
Author's Response: i'm glad that you like dusty, i wanted to have an original character, and the house elf seemed like a good way to go. i figured it would add some necessary humor to the story, which otherwise might be hard to get through because it's depressing.

Hello! I've just discovered your story and I really like it! Harry is cute (even if he has so many problems). I'm waiting for the next chapter so that we see how the move to Snape's house goes :)

Loved it, especially how Severus figured out a way to show his disapproval of Harry's actions without being nasty. I love Dusty, he's hilarious and such a change from the usual! House elf TV addict, awesome! Could you imagine what he'd be like if he watched, say Fresh Prince of Bel Air? Keep up the wonderful work.

damn... my friend sent me the link to this fanfic (she made it), and I must say for being a harry potter fanfic (Not the biggest HP fan, or a fanfic fan) it actually kept my attention, and was very interesting. I plan on waiting for more updates, but to catch my attention this must be a top quality HP fanfic.

You have managed to write this subject quite tastefully. I wasn't sure before I began to read it, if I would find it too difficult to read, but you have done a nice job.

Great characters...
I love Dusty! It's so rarely that people write an original House Elf, and his different way of speaking is brilliant! Harry was cute and the fight with the socks was done very well. The ending to the chapter was fine, but now I'm curious as to what's going to happen next...
