Reviews For Father of Mine
Very delightful! -P.G. Author's Response: Thank you. It's much more fun to write when you know others are enjoying it, too. :)
Author's Response: I'm glad you like it! Hope you keep reading, and you continue to enjoy. Thanks for the review.
Author's Response: lol, yep. :)
Author's Response: Does the response to the previous review in this chapter answer this at all for you? It is hard to figure out how Snape or anyone could see Harry as the one who created and sustained the problem, but Snape has to have an unreasonable belief. Because if Snape really believed that Harry was innocent, and he was being a total jerk to Harry just for the fun of it, there would be no hope of having Snape overcome that. He would just be... well... a jerk. Period. But if we give him an unreasonable belief... one that Dumbledore knows of and isn't afraid to play into... it gives Snape an opportunity to realize that he might need to reevaluate the way that he views Harry, and to ultimately change those perceptions in a realistic way. Does that make any sense? It's 2:00 a.m. and I could be rambling by now. And thanks for recognizing that it's Snape's view, as opposed to my personal belief. I truly hope you continue to enjoy it.
Author's Response: Glad you like it. :)
Author's Response: thanks!
Author's Response: lol, thanks! Most likely this weekend.
I feel very sorry for Harry. You probably already have his reaction planned, but I do hope that your Harry is not going to be so needy for a family that he accepts Snape and immediately loves him, no matter how horrible Snape is to him. How about for a change if Harry calmly accepts Snape as his father, but determines just to learn everything he can from the man and then never see him again once he's graduated from Hogwards. Of course, then if you want, the two of them can develop a relationship. It's just that I've read too many of these stories lately where Harry continues to hope for a father no matter what Snape does or else Snape turns into father of the year after one day. Sorry for ranting. This story does show great promise. Author's Response: Glad you liked it! Your ideas for Harry's reaction sound intersting, and he can definitely learn from Snape. But you'll have to stay tuned if you want to see what happens. I will say, however, that Snape is going to be much less than perfect, and Harry will struggle with the idea of family. After all, he's never really had one, has he? Hope you continue to enjoy...
Author's Response: Thanks for the review and glad to hear you're enjoying it. |
