Reviews For Father of Mine
I wont tell you what I have planned for Severus if I ever get my hands on him, it would be simply too disturbing. Anyway, this was another angsty chapter!
Author's Response: LOL... omg, that's so funny. You really made me laugh with this review!
Very interesting fic--I'm still very curious about Severus' family. -P.G. Author's Response: lol - see that? case made for the beta reader!! Thanks for pointing it out - I'll try and tidy it up with the next update. I like the soothing charm, too... it seems like it might provide a mechanism to get the two characters more connected, so I expect it will be around in future chapters. Thanks for reviewing!
Between 17 and 19 paragraphs down is where the two handings-over take place. Author's Response: hmmm... you're right. I was trying to express what Harry was feeling when he saw the wand handed to Snape, but it's not quite clear enough. I'll have to go back and tidy that up. Thanks for pointing it out. Author's Response: Thanks - I'm glad that you're enjoying it! Next chapter coming soon... :)
I have to say that I loved the last line of chapter three and in chapter four when Harry uses the word Father as a slur. They certainly don't like each other much right now, do they? I hope their relationship progresses slowly...more enjoyable and believable that way. Great job! Author's Response: lol, yeah... they pretty much hate each other. I should probably put an author's note somewhere, but the story is really almost completely about Harry and Snape coming to terms with each other, so it will progress slowly. Since everything centers around this particular journey, there has to be a lot of conflict between the characters or the story would be pretty darn short. ... "Harry, I'm your father." ... "No way. Cool." ... "I love you, son." ... "I love you too, Dad." ... THE END.... It just seems a bit empty to me that way... ;) Thanks for the review, and I hope you continue to like it.
Author's Response: Thanks! And I love your website. :) |
