Reviews For Father of Mine
I think that if Snape actually can see that Harry is his son visually, then maybe he'll start to develop some paternal feelings for him. Normally, I would agree that I would want him to look more like Lilly, but since he was not in love with Lilly, and is already resenting the fact that Harry is is son, and he has to take responsibility for him against his will; I think that if Harry resembles himself more; there is a better chance that Snape will eventually accept him. After all, who can resist seeing a mini version of themselves. I'm guessing also that Caden, and his wife are dead, and something tragic happened to them; so maybe if Harry looks more him, Snape will grow to accept him more quickly, than if he was a James Potter lookalike! Author's Response: The nose is a curse for sure, isn't it?? Holy cow, Harry would have an absolute bird if he ended up looking like Snape! hahah... fun, fun, fun...
Author's Response: hahah... you're funny, little-sun. I like a character with a little bite, too. Which means that, in addition to Snape, we'll probably see Harry developing a bit of an attitude before he starts coming to terms with the events. No huggin' and kissin' and makin' up in this fic... well, I mean... at least not right away...
Author's Response: Thanks! Writing is always great fun. :)
Author's Response: Thanks. Oh, and from one Kristie to another Kristi... GREAT NAME!
Author's Response: Yeah, I love Harry/Snape angst, too... lol, like you couldn't tell, huh? As for his appearance, the illusion is complicated, and even if it's removed, no one is sure what the outcome will be. Sooo... we'll just have to see 1.) if Snape removes it; and 2.) if he does, what the effect on Harry will be... Hope you continue to enjoy it. :)
Author's Response: Thanks, and I'm glad you're enjoying it. Severus' feelings towards Harry are complicated - more complicated than even he realizes. You're right - he doesn't like the idea of dealing with any potential problems that might arise, but not because any physical or magical imbalances, as such. He just doesn't want to have to face the consequences of an arguably selfish decision that he made a long time ago. It's always a bummer when we see the negative consequences of our actions, isn't it? Thanks again for taking the time to review. It's nice to hear your thoughts. :)
Can't wait for the next update, which I hope will be soon. Author's Response: It's difficult not to feel sorry for him right now, since absolutely nothing is going his way. lol, but hey, that means it can only get better, right? Next update will hopefully be next weekend.
Author's Response: Maybe... if she's still alive...
Author's Response: Thanks!
Author's Response: lol, thanks. More to follow soon... |
