Reviews For Dobby's Brilliant Idea
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you like it!
I really like your story and am looking forward to more. Author's Response: No, sorry. I invented Snape's childhood before JK Rowling revealed it, so there isn't a Tobias (or equivalent) in this story. I'm really glad you like it! There is more coming soon, when real life stops being so hectic. Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: Big hugs for you! Thank you for reading and thanks for your review!
Author's Response: Thank you! To be honest the whole thing is a bit of a whim... I've wanted to write a fanfic for yonks, and this idea just seemed to work, but the actual writing of chapter 1 took place while sitting outside the exam room before my med-physiology exam. I was too nervous to study any more, so I was like "OMG time to write a fanfic". and then i was like "what the hell should I write about?" and (luckily) I remembered reading this plot bunny. I'm surprised my brain was working at all after the 10hr cram session...
Author's Response: Thank you for your review! I'd like to see where it goes too! If you have any ideas, stick them in a review please :). I have a bit of a plan, but plenty of details are missing.
Author's Response: Gosh! Imagine Lily finding out! lol she would explode! *smirks* what a good idea! I think I will have to include it sometime :). I'm glad you say "poor Eileen" too, because I don't want this to be the cliched type of story where Severus' parents are evil and everyone hates them. Eileen may be a useless parent, but she isn't evil, and Severus loves her. She isn't happy with her life, and the drugs help her escape, so I can't really blame her. Poor Severus, yes indeed! It definitely isn't an ideal environment to grow up in. no wonder he has issues. The apothecary isn't entirely a negative though. I sort of hinted with the spelling bit, but Boris eventually teaches Severus how to read, and (in his own abrupt and critical manner) teaches him a lot about potions. There is the money too, which isn't exactly a lot, but does make a big difference to the bills. That's why Sev doesn't quit, even though Boris beats him. Thanks for reviewing, by the way! And I'm going to catch up with my reading of your stories soon (hooray!), now that exams are over for a little while (*dances*). |
