I’m back for another read. This opening chapter was so nicely done, with a cliffhanger ending! I loved all the insights strewn throughout.
Amazing first chapter! Your writing style is brilliant - concise, clever, thought-provoking, and funny. So good.
Coincidentally, I recently discovered these stories on fanfiction.net and am almost through them all. They are among the best I've read in the genre -- well-written; plausible dialogue; good, well-developed plot; enough canon characterization to remain within the HP realm without blatant, distracting OOC; an emotional appeal that makes you care what happens next: sweet, agonizing, heart-rendering, heart-warming. All-around good job.

Ron's description of receiving a spanking was just so human, so real. I am oldest of many and can remember my brothers talking just like that. Good job.

I think I've read this on fanfiction.net. I just wanted to let you know how much I love Ron's line about how if they go through so much trouble to hold you down and smack you, you should at least let them know you notice. Great Ron line, something I could see him saying.
