I love this side of Ron - strategic, loyal, brave, and capable!

I aboslutely loved the first chapter. This story really caught my attention and I loved the way you set up Harry's attack. The only irritation I have is regarding Snape's references to Ron acting like a Slytherin. I hate it when writers make casual remarks to the slightest deviance Hermione, Ron, or even Harry (when I usually love concepts that deal with Harry accepting his personality traits that are represented from the serpent house) have and are likened to the Slytherin house by prominent members. Ron's plan surprisingly had an undertone of Slytherin, so the remark only slightly grated (having read too many badly written fics). I was impressed by how well he pulled that off while staying in character.
Author's Response: I'll be interested in what you think of the conversation Snape and Ron have in a later chapter about the need to embrace ALL aspects of your personality - Gryffindor traits, Slytherin traits, and so on. Thanks for reviewing and I hope you continue to enjoy the story. :)
