Interesting so far, but I am confused on several parts. What year are they in and how old are they? I've seen references to them being 12 but that doesn't make sense with other parts such as the one about Harry having nightmares. There was a scene in the last chapter that made it sound like Harry was having visions, but that should've started when he was like 15, not 12. I'm a little confused, but other than that, this has been pretty good so far.
Author's Response: Thanks for taking the time to write and share your questions. Sorry that it is confusing to you. They are indeed 12, but in this AU, Harry started "tuning in" to Voldemort after they met over the Philosopher's Stone and it became clear that he needed to start training to learn how to defeat him (including occlumency) earlier than in canon timelines. That's why Snape got involved in his welfare and their relationship began to develop. Sorry if I didn't make that clear enough in the 1st chapter - thanks for asking!
