What do you mean the end?!!! I'm not ready for this to end. Are you doing a sequel? Pretty please...

Author's Response: Thanks! What a great compliment! (It's always much better to hear "what? it's ended??" rather than "oh lord - isn't it over yet?") Im certainly being motivated to think about a sequel - thanks for adding your vote!

These last few chapters were written fantastically as usual. I'm so glad Harry had a happy ending, and I'm equally glad that you were able to keep Snape in character even through the little emotional parts. Thanks for the great story!
    Sequel?! :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the kind words. I'm really glad you felt that everyone stayed in character. I don't know about a sequel... I'll have to see what I can come up with, but thank you for asking!

Snape might, just might, even allow Harry to have a real birthday cake.

For some reason I really like that line. I've been enjoying this story. I don't think I'd read it all on fanfiction.net, so it's nice to read it here. I hope you'll continue into the summer? Or start another story with the summer?

Author's Response: Thank you for asking! There's nothing (for me) as motivating for a sequel as reviews like yours asking for one. I'm delighted to see that you like my take on the characters enough to want to know what happens next. :)

I dearly love your Draco's personality. He's a perfect mix of elitist snob and child.

In the books he's so flat and static compared to the changes the Trio undergo. Here he's changing bit by bit from his father's clone to being a little boy finding his own personality. You've given them all room to be *children* and I have absolutely enjoyed taking the time to stroll through your version of JKR's universe :) I am also dearly hoping for a sequel to this family goodness

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I honestly had NO intention (read "zero") of even including Draco when I started. I never liked the character in the books (for all the reasons you described) and had no thought of including him in MY version of the universe. But - as often happens - my muse had other ideas, and I ended up writing WAY more about him than I'd ever intended. And in the end, to my shock, I ended up liking him (well, my version of him). Go figure!! Anyway, thanks so much for the review! I'm not sure about a sequel, but I'm certainly being motivated to think about it by reviews and encouragement like yours. :)

I love this story!! I read it on ff.net but this is so much easier to read all together..... 5 Gold Stars and a chocolate frog for a fantastic effort!!!!!!! i can't wait for the next chapters.

Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, I agree that it's nice to have it all in one place. I really appreciate this site for giving me the opportunity to post it here in this form. And thank you for taking the time to review! :)

Wow. All I can say, was this was an absolutely FANTASTIC piece of writing! I've recently found this gem and raced through to the end, loving every second of it. Your storyline was fresh and heartwarming, characterization was spot on, and your Snape was one of the best I've seen written. There is always a tricky line between so-soft and too-hard with a Snape in these kind of stories and not a lot of writers can pull it off, but yours was prefect. I really l loved how the storyline evolved at a realistic pace and how the evolution of Harry and Severus' relationship seemed natural and uncontrived. Your writing is bright and witty and flows at a nice pace with good scene transitions that move the action without losing the reader. There was not a single disappointing chapter, I loved them all and I'm praying fervently that you've got a sequel in the works. Harry's summer is sure to be an interesting one and I want to know what happens next!

Overall a wonderfully written story for an obviously talented author, thank you for a great story!

Author's Response: Wow! Thank you for your review - I'm really overwhelmed. I'm delighted to hear that you felt the characterization was well done. It's the thing I worry about the most, having seen (as you describe) other stories that seem to veer too much one way or the other, especially wth Snape. It's therefore just marvelous to receive feedback that - yay! - it worked in this story. I'm glad you enjoyed the storyline - compared to many of the stories that are much more action packed with Voldemort and duels and such, this is very mundane and relationship based, so I was a little worried that people would find it boring. (Yeah, yeah, okay so they're getting along. Big deal - where's the action??) It's lovely to get reviews like yours and realize that other people (not just me!) like the human side of the story, not just the (magical equivalent) of explosions and car chases. ;) Thank you so much!!

terrific chapter: I loved the little "game" they played at the end.

Author's Response: Thanks! I liked the game too - it just felt like a great way that they could both express their feelings without actually saying how they felt. ;) (typical males!!!!)
