I just read all of the reviews and they voiced my first reaction when I read this story. It just begs to written into a full-blown story. Yes, Vernon's punisment (me laughing evily!), but it would also be nice to turn this into a guardian fic, or mentor at the very least. I would love to see a relationship of some sort develop between Snape and Harry.

Author's Response: I love all sorts of relationship between our two heros. If only I knew already what is going to happen in this case... It's only Harry's third year, after all, there is still a chance for change of winds - without Sirius or Occlumency failure between them. Thank you for your review, Mila

I really enjoyed your story, how the kitten brought Harry and Severus together, how Severus recognized and empathized with Harry's grief over Hedwig, and how hopefully now the two of them can move beyond their past and have a better relationship in the future. I'd love to see more to this too, if you ever decided to write more.

    Author's Response:

Thank you. I wonder how far can their relationship change thanks to Golden Star. Until I decide, I can't write more, I guess... Mila

You are going to do more chapters/ a sequel (whatever) aren't you - I really liked this beginning.

Author's Response: Thank you. I am seriously considering another chapter :-) Mila

You can't stop here! Argh, you are killing me! Great one-shot but this just screams for more, especially with that ending. Pretty please?

Great story, I loved it. No matter how strange I could actually see Severus getting attached to an animal in this agree, much more believable for some odd reason than to Harry. At least for the beginning. Thank you!

Author's Response: Thank you. I am playing with the idea to write about the punishment. I just need to give Severus some time to think up something Slytherinly vicious *grin* Mila

    You need to expand this.

Author's Response: I really should write about the punishment of Vernon Dursley, right? He SO much deserves it! Thanks for your review, Mila

Aww, what a beautiful little story! I love how the kitten brought them together and I hope Severus punishes the Dursleys good for killing Hedwig. Maybe he could make it so their house is haunted by owls? They see owls eveywhere, all the time, and it drives them crazy.

You captured the cat's personality brilliantly. Cats go where they will and love who they want too, but they are very loyal and affectionate with their chosen person.

Author's Response: Haunted by owls? What a lovely idea. Only it would lead them straight to magic and Harry :-( Severus will have to think up something Muggle-like... Thank you for your review, praise and ideas! Mila

    Beautifully written!

Author's Response: Thank you. It is good to see I am not the only one who reads fanfics at work occasionally :) Mila
