Not sure about Fudge being a Neil and related to Severus talk about chalk and cheese
interesting Fudge as Snape's brother but it defintly means dumbledore doesn't have feet to stand on!!!
and Harry's slytherin side I loved it

What I would like to know is how is Cornelius Fudge Severus Snape's brother. They don't look alike and I think Fudge is older then Severus. Can you please give me an explanation?
Author's Response: Sure thing. Neil is older than Sev, but they share the same mum, two different fathers. The entire relationship is explored more in the second in this series Of Son, Fathers and Brothers, which I haven't even begun writing yet. They don't have to look alike, and I may even change up Neil's looks if I feel like it.
No, no you misunderstood. I like fics where Severus is a bit mushy and tender. I like reading fics with different sides of his personality. If your fic can bring to tears to my eyes that's a good thing. I enjoy fiction that can make me *feel*. :D So, please do not change Sev unless you feel you need to. But, I like him the way he is. :)

Excellent chapter (as have been all the others). I like the idea of Cornelius being Severus' brother. And I adore Harry's T-shirt (as does my resident feline Bailey). The conversation with Merlin was wonderful (why am I not surprised that it was Dumbledore who was asking questions about power?) and I also liked Neil's explanation that there is a difference in him believing something personally and believing something officially. You know, the idea that the Minister is just a voice box for the Wizengamot is a good one and explains why he is always coming to Dumbledore for things. There would be a bit of resentment as well which would explain a lot of the the Minister's actions in the books.

I loved using Fudge as Sev's brother, as I've never seen anyone else do that. :) I haven't got any pets, but I've fallen in love with a website named Icanhascheezeburger.com where they feature cats being the obnoxious lovable monsters they are. Well, that was certainly unexpected! Fudge and Snape as brothers?! They really are quite different. They share only the mother I presume?
Does Dumbledore know about this connection? It might just give Harry the chance to liberate hinmself rnough from Albus' reign to become his own person! I'm intrigued! Please update soon! I want to read more - about Draco as well!
