Author's Response: Of COURSE Sirius got drunk!! I have it on very good authority that Black can't hold his liquor. ANd I think Sev ad a pretty good reason for losing a bit of his control, if you think about it. But I've never thought to write him drunk either, he was just DETERMINED to be so.
