Oh, I like the effects of the potion. By the time Hermione's tuition with Snape is over, she's going to be a force to be reckoned with, won't she? Harry already is, despite his lack of control.
I think if you jum a week or two and give a brief summary of what happened in between times, it would work well.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

I like the idea of the potion but it's not at all clear that it's the reason Hermione is struggling for words until you get to the chapter end notes. Until I read the endnotes, I thought that Hermione was struggling for words because she'd actually started to realize she'd been wrong (!) and I was still wondering what the potion would do.
