Reviews For Harry's New Home
I've read for hours now without stopping to review just because I couldn't stop! I can't decide what parts I like best: Severus' mental letters to Voldemort make me laugh out loud in the middle of my family doing other things. I also adore the way Severus mentally calls Harry names like "little monster", "little fiend" and "little horror" while imagining him doing something horrible. Maybe my favorite is how Severus constantly thinks Harry's horribly traumatized by something when in reality Harry's angling to get Severus to say something to betray how much he cares for Harry. Anyway, this is brilliant! Author's Response: Wow! Thank you for so many wonderful compliments! :) The mental letters seem to be a huge hit! I will do my best to put in a few more in upcoming chapters. :) And yes, it is awfully cute how the two keep misunderstanding each other, yet actually they really do connect better than most! :)
Author's Response: LOL! I'll do my best! I'm glad you're enjoying the characters so much. :)
Author's Response: Glad you enjoy the letters. I confess they make me snicker too. :) Yes, Sirius is coming up, though not for a few more chapters. (Sorry!)
Author's Response: I'm delighted to hear that you found the argument compelling. I always thought that a Slytherin would be the best one to take down a Dark Lord, and now that Snape's on the job, he's not wasting any time!! :) Thanks for letting me know you're enjoying the story and dialogue. :)
You are a brilliant writer. Keep it up!!! Author's Response: Thank you thank you thank you! Wow, I'm blushing! :) So very pleased to hear that you liked how Sev is manipulating Lucius - Slytherins are so much fun to write!
Author's Response: Wow! Considering how many wonderful fics are out there, I'm really honored by your comment. Thank you!!
Author's Response: Ha ha ha! Yes, and I really want to keep that aspect of his personality intact, even as he comes to admit his devotion to Harry. |
