I'm so proud. Snape has become such a good guardian! cute chapter!
I love the chapters where Severus has to figure out how a father handles things - and this chapter he has TWO unruly "sons" to handle! Of course, he does a great job - even when he is managing to move the two boys to tears just with his lecture. Great job on this chapter!
Author's Response: Ha ha ha! Yes, he does, doesn't he? I think most dads (or uncles) are a bit stymied when having to deal with more than the usual number, so I agree with you that Snape does a pretty impressive job, especially for a novice. (Though of course that Slytherin nature of his would let him play with Gryffindor minds!) I've never understood the fanfics that make Snape a heavy handed disciplinarian - why would a Slytherin find it necessary to hurt his own hand paddling little boys' behinds when his words should be able to cause even more anguish and guilt?? <snicker> Now *that's* Slytherin!!! ;)
