Did I mention how much I ADORE this story. When I got to the part of Jones trying to teach Hermione the Castrato spell I just howled in laughter. I am still laughing when I think of the scene. I liked how you had the Snakes and Lions working together.

What an exciting chapter! How great that so many people rallied to Harry's support - particularly the Slytherins. Just one question - it is not clear to me who the Ravenclaw's were referring to when they talked about Harry's father. I would imagine it could be either James or Severus - will this come up again?

Go Jones for an effective way to shut him up! Amazing free-for-all and very exciting, it's fantastic how all the Slytherins came to Harry's rescue, I've always that house to be able to save the day believably and you pulled it off! Bravo - I hope you write more soon.

I quite liked this chapter, especially the bit at the end. I love how Ron called out to his brothers to help Harry and the fight scene in general. Now I really want to see the consequences!

Another Harry-Severus chapter - thank you, thank you! It looks like our Harry will be giving Hermione a run for the money on who is the biggest know-it-all. Of course, Harry does seem like a sponge, doesn't he? He truly seems to enjoy learning all of this new stuff, and he seems to love helping others with it as well. If he weren't so courageous and brave he would make a great Hufflepuff!!
(Seeing as I figure that would be MY house, I am paying him a compliment!)

Severus in full Slytherin mode is such fun to watch! I loved your Sirius - and I can see he and Severus joining forces in some very interesting ways to keep Harry safe (and happy!)

Oh no! I hope Harry can get away somehow, those boys are making my spine creep. Or maybe he can use some of his new magic on them... well, I don't know what they want so it's hard to judge.
Good idea about the private tutoring, and I like how you've described it and the impact it has on Harry. Most authors who put Harry in for extra tutroing only give one liners as how it's affected Harry. I'm glad you haven't! Please write more soon! You have me worried now...

Severus certainly had a productive night! It hope the animosity between Severus and Sirius-Remus will stop, it would be good for Harry when he meets the remaining Marauders.
Author's Response: I doubt they'll ever exchange Xmas presents, but if anything can convince Severus to let bygones be bygones, I suspect it will be concern for Harry's welfare...
