Reviews For Harry's New Home
Author's Response: Ha ha! The Weasleys are just so great for comic relief moments... :)
Although with his new appearance maybe "Witch Weekly" should be next? Author's Response: Ha ha! I like that - Snape as the next cover model?
Author's Response: Thank you so very much for sharing that with me. I am incredibly honored (and flattered) to have been able to provoke such a response. Thank you!
"He went from serving a near-omnipotent, egomaniacal lunatic to serving a near-omniscient, manipulative old coot." At least he was able to "play" the Weasleys a little bit to get back his own after being played by Dumbledore. Author's Response: LOL! Yes, I think it helped assuage his bruised ego somewhat...
Author's Response: Well, he had to learn SOMETHING over the last 15 decades or so! ;)
Author's Response: I absolutely *love* hearing that I'm keeping in character. Thanks for taking the time to review and let me know. :)
Author's Response: Wow - thank you! I'm always privately amazed when my words can conjure such an emotional response. I'm really really pleased that you took the time to review - thank you.
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I try to leaven the serious topics with humor - always great to hear when it works! :)
Author's Response: LOL! I know what you mean about the Gryff/Slyth contretemps... As you'll see, the 2 Houses will feature fairly prominently in some of the later chapters.
Author's Response: Thanks! I found it a bit of a challenge to write Arthur because, just as you describe, he's not as well fleshed out in canon as are some of the other characters. So I kind of followed my nose and tried to deduce what kind of a character he might be and then (since this is *my* AU, thank you very much!) just made it so! :) I'm happy to hear you enjoy the result. And yes, I must admit the line you quote is one of my personal favorites. I can just see Snape's deadpan delivery and Molly's distracted reply.... hee hee hee! |
