Hey these are really really good. I blame a burned supper last night on you, began reading after getting home from your place and lost track, till the smell of scorching. You write really well, with some great archetypal/ psychological understandings, and as for the imagination ,I am so jealous. Cant wait for the next. Thanks for a great read

Author's Response: Thank you very much! I am very sorry about your supper - it was most unfortunate! I hope you continue to enjoy my writings, minus the burnt supper of course!

Author's Response: Thank you - I'll do my best about the chapters, but be warned - I might just be addicted to those cliffhangers!

I love it when Snape realizes he was wrong about how Harry has lived up till the current moment. It's always a heart softner.Good work!

Author's Response: Thank you - I love that moment too!

This is my second time hitting it.

I'm glad Minerva didn't try and attack severus for not coming immediately to Albus's summons. Really, Dumbeldore has gotten so used to people jumping when he sneezes that he forgets sometimes people have other priorities.
I'm glad severus found out the truth, or part of it, about Harry's past and maybe will discuss it with him sometime?

    hint?

And will we find out what happened with the Dursleys? I hope so!

BTW, have you seen my new fic with harry and the puppy? I just posted a new chapter, so if you're in the mood to read something that's not really sad, like Shadows, check out HP Dogsitter, it'll make you smile!

    Author's Response:

Yay! That's nice to hear! Minerva may have something to say to Sev later on, but she understands where he's coming from. Dumbledore can be troublesome, but I like the idea of the 'granpa' figure too much to make mine more than only a little conniving - I certainly wouldn't write him callous, it kind of destroys some of the magic! I think Sev will have something big thinking to do, but, be warned, he's a creature of habit...

The Dursleys will appear again, they just may take some time. Drat! I meant to review that earlier today... It is amazing, I shall just go and find it again!

    Ooooo, good chapter!

I really like how you detail little things such as the way you describe how apparating feels to Snape and how he quickens his pace when he's gets nervous. It really makes the characters come to life. Good stuff!

It should be interesting the way the next few days pan out.

Looking forward to the next update!

Author's Response: Thank you - I'm glad you like the Apparating, me too! Yes, the next few days should be very interesting indeed...

Thanks! I wonder if ever Harry says "us" before Snape, heh. Severus would think Harry was going mental *grin* How long Severus let Minerva wait, again? Mila

Author's Response: Any time. I have actually considered putting that in, it would be very funny to read. Mental picture of Snape doing a double take, eyes wide! I shall put Minerva's reaction of being left in next time, but I think it's safe to say a looong time.

At least Harry has Shadow to share his worries with. It could be worse--he could be ALL alone (which in a way he is since Shadow is just his reflection-sort of) Oh well, maybe Snape will start Noticing things about the boy and get a REAL picture instead of the one of his own making.

Looking forward to your next update!
    V.

Author's Response: Yes, Shadow does help - pity he isn't solid. I daresay Snape will get his act together eventually in his own Snape-ish way. Thank you for reviewing!

Author's Response: That's great to hear, thank you! The next few days should be interesting...

Yes, I like it. Very unique story so far - though I hope Shadow is real, and not some figment of Harry's mind. Oh, and let's hope the Dursleys have learned a lesson about dealing with wizards.

Author's Response: Thank you! For all intents and purposes, Shadow is real, but it's complicated and will all be explained at the end of the story. I will definitely make sure the Dursleys learn something... Thanks for reviewing!

Great chapter. Too bad Narcissa freed Malfoy. I'm feeling no sympathy for the Dursley's, goodness knows what's happening to them. Glad Snape is starting to piece together Harry's home life. Wonderful writing I cannot wait for more. Thanks for the chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you very much! Yes, I was rather miffed when I realised I would have to let Lucius out from under the bush. If I didn't have an overall plot, I'd have left him there! The Dursleys certainly deserve what they get. I'm glad you enjoyed this!
