Reviews For Know Thyself
Nice work! Author's Response: Thank you! The Lily flashback took me by surprise, actually. When I first wrote it, it was so bad that Lily sounded like the worst kind of Mary-Sue, but I'm glad you think that it turned out well in the end! I did enjoy writing the Greensleeves bit!
Greensleeves was written by Henry VIII for Anne Boleyn, I'm a closet history buff, especially with the Tudors. I'm glad Lily forgave Severus and he is no longer a Death Eater. Author's Response: Thank you! I knew Greensleeves was written Henry the eighth, but I couldn't remember which one of his six wives he wrote it for...
Author's Response: That good or bad? ...hmm, you've intrigued me!
Author's Response: Hopefully Severus will be able to look after Harry until then. I'll give you a snippet on how he's doing before the end of the story!
I loved the flash back about Lily playing the Piano and singing. But even more the spell that freed Sev from the Dark mark! So, What's next? When will Shadow come back? (and in what form?) Harry is going to be very depressed for a while-I think, How will Sev handle/help with this? Lookign forward to your next update! V. Author's Response: Don't worry - he is in a safe but boring place and I'll give you a snippet of him before I finish the story! I'm glad you liked the bits regarding Lily - I think I enjoyed writing those most of all. More should be up soon... Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: Thank you! You'll get a snippet of Shadow before the end of the story and hopefully I'll have the next chapter sorted out soon...
I love Greensleeves! Have you ever heard Loreena McKennitt's version? It's the most ethereal rendition I've ever heard. (If any of you want to listen to it, it's on Youtube.) Can't wait for the next installment! :D Author's Response: Thank you! I looked it up and it was very pretty, but I think I still prefer the traditional version - I'm a sucker for harpsichord music. More should be coming soon! |
