Seems like an interesting start!
I have greatly enjoyed this story. It was well paced and balanced. The characters were very in character, and I have to commend you on one thing that makes me turn from a story. You didn't change Dumbledore. I could squeeze your Albus to death. He wasn't cruel, conniving, in denial, obtuse, a fool, or any of the other things that I hate to see done to him. He's the best Dumbledore I've ever read, and I thank you more than I can say for that.

This felt so well done - so perfectly planned. I'm incredibly impressed and so sad over the loss of Shadow. I never thought I'd get as attached as I did to his character, but his 'death' felt real.

Honestly, you're doing an amazing job at keeping me on my feet - which is something I don't nearly get enough with in fanfiction it seems.
This story is fantastically written so far, and I have to be honest in saying I'm not sure at all what's going to happen next - and I LOVE that!
I adore Harry and Shadow's interactions so far and cannot wait to see how it continues to effect him!!
