Reviews For The Seven Year Snitch
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: He'll be nasty for a while, but I can't take it much longer. :o) Snape always seemed to misread Harry in canon, and it's even worse now that he's a guardian instead of a teacher. Thanks for reviewing!
I'm anxious to see what you have planned for the rest of this story. I'm loving it. :-) Author's Response: Thanks for your comments! We know how cute Harry must have been at seven, but Snape only sees his old enemy. I think he's protecting himself from being hurt again, as if Harry's going to hex him or humiliate him the way James did. I don't think he'd be so rough with Harry, but subconsciously he's really hurting James. He'll soften eventually, I hope. :o)
Anyway, it was a very enjoyable read and I hope you update soon! Author's Response: I get really upset when Snape misinterprets Harry in canon. I think that's why these stories are the most popular, because we can soften him up. Even I cringe at Snape's meanness here, and I wrote it! :o) Thanks for reviewing!
I really love your writing. Very nice start to the story. You have portrayed Snape so mean and snarkey. In other words, he's perfectly in character! I hope that Snape lightens up a bit as time goes on, or poor Harry will be worse off, in some ways, than with the Dursleys! Can't wait to read the next chapter--which I hope will be soon! Author's Response: Thanks for your comments! Snape will soften a tiny bit over time, but right now, every time he looks at Harry, he sees James. You're right, though; Harry might as well be with the Dursleys. The devil you know is better than the devil you don't . . . but at least he gets a big bed. :o)
Author's Response: That's how I usually felt in canon! Indignant. Snape just never listened. He'll probably continue on with this attitude for a while, but I hope they can work it out. Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: I feel bad for my Harry, too, because he didn't ask for any of this to happen. I know Snape didn't, either, but then again, he's the reason Harry doesn't have parents. Harry, like most kids, bristles at injustice, but from living with the Dursleys, he's learned to squelch it most of the time. Thanks for your comments!
Author's Response: I think Snape could be a good parent if he'd let go of his baggage . . . which hopefully I can get him to do, at least eventually. Thanks for the review!
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! Hey, anyone can die in a car crash. The Dursleys deserved better. :o) Snape is going to be very mean in the next chapter . . . and probably the one after that, too . . . well, for quite a while, anyway!
i've been in the harry potter fandom way too long when i've forgotten that it can actually be considered an insult to be called a witch. Author's Response: Sometimes when people annoy me, I consider using Crucio. And then it hits me. I am on my own. :o) Thanks for reviewing! |
