Poor Harry, I hope Poppy can heal him. It was a good thing that Snape knew the counter to that curse, it sounds utterly horrible. I also liked how Sev held Harry here.

Love How Severus became so protective of Harry. why didn't Sevrus pick him up Harry is not that Heavy or big due to his child hood.plus it helps the pain with contact

Excellent premise! It's very original...an unwilling Snape protecting an unwilling Harry. Harry's confusion over Snape's initial rejection is heartwrenching. This scene where Snape comforts Harry, however stiffly, is perfect. I look forward to reading more.
Oh poor Harry! How horrible that someone was trying to burn him alive!
Thank goodness that Snape protected him. I like how Snape is feeling protective of Harry, despite himself!
I'm anxious to see where you go with this story. Nice beginning!

A very interesting story so far. I can't wait to see how this continues. The blood bonding mystery is a nice twist.
