Love your Minerva taking charge!
I love this--I really do. I always thought Minerva would not allow such a thing to happen. Great job!
I really like how you portrayed Minerva here. She is much more formidable and the others seem to respect her more than they do in the books.
Author's Response: Thank you! I was always a little disappointed in the canon Minerva - she never seemed to reach her full potential (or what I saw as her full potential), so it's been great fun to write this story!
Once more I have to say "Go, Minerva!" Isn't it amazing how things can be so different because she's refusing to let people jump to conclusions (though she did do that for a minute, assuming that Sirius had joined Voldemort). Everything you've written is so very plausible and I certainly am looking forward to what else you and Minerva have up your sleeves.
Author's Response: Well, in Minerva's defense, Sirius HAD just said, "It's all my fault", but I agree - a little common sense goes a long way. :) Really glad to hear you are enjoying the story, and I hope you like the final chapter as well. :)
Well, I'm glad they finally figured it out. And it's a good thing that Minerva is there to keep Sev & Sirius from going for each other's throats. I hope they will catch the traitor and send him to hell.

OMG this story is awesome. I swear, this is how things SHOULD have gone down. Sirius and Severus’s insane rage was hilarious, not to mention Dumbledore getting overthrown. Go McGonagall!

Author's Response: Thank you! Alas, I won't explicitly cover that in the story, but I think we can take it as likely. Without Voldemort and with his animagus form common knowledge, I don't see Pettigrew as being competent enough to avoid capture for long, do you? Hope you enjoy the final chapter!
