Lovely chapter, must try shortbread dipped in chocolate!
Severus couldn't have come up with a better idea to gain Lily's favor. After days of a cranky, sleepless toddler, having something safe that let her and Harry sleep would have been heaven. There would definately be a market for that cream. I enjoyed Severus' letter to Lily. I was glad that he was able to open up so much to her.
Author's Response: It is so hard for Sev to open up, he can only ever really do it with Lily. We'll get to see a lot more of it in the next few chapters and how different he can be with others around too. There is something very special about Lily for him.
