Reviews For In My Daughter's Eyes
Author's Response: Thank you!
At least once Severus knew Alexia was abused, he acted to save her and didn't leave her there. How did Mrs. Potter know Severus was the father anyway? What paternity test did they do? And why didn't SHE take her granddaughter in instead of Petunia? I'm assuming that James would have introduced her to them and even if she wasn't blood, that shouldn't have prevented her from taking the baby, unless Dumbledore meddled yet again. You can't blame Sev for not believing her and like I said before, a Death Eater is hardly an ideal parent. Who would he have gotten to watch her when he went to meetings, since he was probably not on speaking terms with his parents then? Tobias needs to stop casting blame and help Severus come to terms with his new position and help Sev take care of Alexia, because he will need the support of his family to get through this. Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing Snapegirl! And to answer your questions: Severus knew the Dursley's were abusing her because of two things. One, in chapter two Dumbledore told him. And two, Severus followed Lexy home and waited outside till they were all asleep. While she was reading in the park she wasn't hurt but when he saw her later on she was hurt badly. And as for 'the life of a Death Eater not being one she should be exposed to, and Sev not being Good parent material'. You are 100% correct. However, that wasn't the whole reason Severus didn't claim her. At the time he just simply didn't want her. Sad but true, and there is a reason for that, but i can't say why yet. Sorry, lol. As for Mrs. Potter... I'm sorry if i wrote this badly and you didn't get it, but i was refering to Lily Potter. Sorry again, i probably should have writen that better. And last but not least Tobias Snape: i will admit he was harsh but again there is a reason for it which actually will be explained in the next couple of chapters. Hopefuly anyway. I hope this answers your questions. And if you have anymore go ahead and ask, i don't mind. Thanks again for reviewing! Nightshade :)
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing. And I'm sure he will. Severus really isn't that bad of a guy. He's just stupid sometimes. Lol! |
