Reviews For Christmas at Spinner's End
Anyways great chapter! I really loved it! Definate tear jerker, oh and i love how you had ron and hermione, and what they said to harry is something you'd hear from your parents not your firends, and jk rowling said it herself they sometimes had to be stand in parents for harry (especially in book 5) great work!! !! Missy :) Author's Response: Thank you so much! Sorry for making you cry, and yeah, I think Ron and Hermione sometimes had to take care of Harry a bit, too. Plus, I figure just being in the afterlife will give them maturity and a different perspective on things. Glad you liked it!
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, Harry is better now, though it is still hard for him, and of course he has to try to save that man. Oh, Severus will have something to say about it all, all right! Thank you!
I'm so glad that Harry has grown close to Snape though, to help him through the difficult times. Lovely story, I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy! Please update soon! Author's Response: Thank you! Yeah, it is sad about Ron and Hermione...I'm never killing off another main character again, lol! And yeah, Harry and Sev are pretty close by now. Probably won't update now til after Christmas, but I'll try to soon after. Thanks again!
Oh, and what's gonna happen? Poor man, will Harry save him? I love how protective Sev is. It's enough to give anyone warm-fuzzies (if they're not crying their eyes out like I am, that is!) lol, thanks for the awesome chapter. I loved it! -Elise Author's Response: Oh, thank you, Elise! I'm happy you enjoyed it. Yes, Severus is quite protective, but I think he would be like that once he's grown to care for Harry. Thanks again!
I also liked that Hermione and Ron warned Harry that Snape was coming; it goes well with the begining and Snape and Dumbledore's conversation. Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, Neville and Luna are really good friends, too, and Hagrid, and now Harry also have Severus on his side, of course, so he isn't alone. I had Harry dream about Ron and Hermione telling him that Sev was coming because I hoped it would smooth the way and maybe make it a little more believable that they could learn to get along more quickly. This 'little' story has already turned out to be more than I'd planned, lol, and I can't write a long, drawn-out piece where they're slowly learning to care for one another. Thanks again!
lol, i'll stop now. But I just wanted to say how much I love this story. Sev is so....Sevish, but in a really sweet way, if you know what I mean. (lol. not good at explaining myself, if you didn't already know). Well, ok, bye! -Elise Author's Response: Oh, thank you, Elise! Well, it was the fact that all of Harry's closest friends were gone that really inspired Severus to come back, so that Harry wouldn't be all alone. Glad you like Sev...I wondered if he would be really OOC, but I kind of had to move the story along quickly and didn't have time to write 10 chapters with Severus slowly coming around. I suppose I can just say his afterlife experience had a big effect on him, lol.
Author's Response: Oh, thank you!
Ok....where are those kleenexes?:( I hope that Sev takes good care of Harry! Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, I think Sev will throw himself heart and soul into his new 'mission'. He seems like an all or nothing kind of person to me, lol.
I love Neville. He grew into a fine man. If JKR had killed him in her bloodbath, I think there would have been a scream throughout the HP world. I was unaware that almost all the Wesleys were dead. Was it Bill or Charley that survived? Poor boy, he is probably in the same shape as Harry. Author's Response: Thank you! I've always loved Neville...yep, I'm so glad he survived, though I suppose this story is much more of a bloodbath, considering all the people I've had die! Charlie survived...yeah, I probably should have let Bill live, too, just so there'd still be one other Weasley around. Thanks again!
Author's Response: Thank you! I've always liked Neville, too. |
