Reviews For A Wolf in Winter
Author's Response: Thanks! I love the Silver & Harry friendship!
Loved the way I felt all warm and fuzzy when I read this, keep it up! Author's Response: You're welocme! It's always nice to read a warm Christmas tale, especially nowadays when things are not going so well with the economy and all here in the US.
Ever since I read the Call of the Wild over 50 years ago, I have loved wolves. More, please. Author's Response: I have always loved Jack London, he's a favorite of mine. I think I've read all his works about twenty times--my favorites are White Fang, the Sea Wolf, and Call of the Wild. White Fang was especially meaningful to me, since it showed how a wild and abused dog could be taught to trust and love a person and though the account was fictional, I believe that is true for most animals. patience and kindness work wonders on dogs and they forgive much more readily than people. I used to volunteer at a shelter and worked with several abused dogs and I learned a lot from them. I also love wolves and have written an original novel about them, similar to Richard Adams' Watership Down--another favorite of mine. What was your favorite Jack London tale?
Author's Response: He will! LOL! Thanks for reading!
Author's Response: Thanks, I like that part too.
Author's Response: Umm . . .can't say, it'll spoil the surprise, but it's a good guess! And the legend of the talking animals was inspired by a Christmas show called Annabelle's Wish, it's a great Christmas film!
Author's Response: Thanks and you can read and review more chapters now!
Author's Response: You're welcome. And I've posted a few more chapters too! Enjoy the pie. :)
