I think the conversation was were it need it be. BBBBUT Cliffhanger really but well done by putting the cliffhanger in the author notes.

Author's Response: Thanks and the next one's up, BTW.

    awww *melts*
    good chapter, as always, Snapegirl.
this fic is a bit more holly-centric lately, i wonder if we will see more of harry's POV soon?

Author's Response: Yes, Harry will be getting a few more chapters soon, he'll have plenty to say to Draco in the next chapter!  And you'll see more of Throck-moron as well and Sev spying on the wicked one. Oh yes, and Lucius too, I haven't forgotten about him.

Great chapter!I really enjoyed the initial meeting between Holly, Harry & Draco. I hope that Harry gets past his jealousy quickly and realizes he can share Holly with Draco, and maybe he'll get a brother in the process.

Author's Response: he will, eventually, once he trusts that Draco won't hurt Holly.  But it'll take a little getting used to.

    Nice chapter!

I'm curious...where are Harry and Holly (the names go together—that's cute :D) picking up these bad words? In my experience, kids don't tend to have language problems unless they're hearing it on a regular basis. If it keeps being an issue, I think Snape should track down whomever is using the words and tell them to knock it off (while the kids are around, at any rate.) Oh, well, just my two cents. Looking forward to more!

Author's Response: yes, they do, and I didn't realize that till you pointed it out to me! :) As for the language problem, Holly lived on the streets of Diagon Alley for a while, and probably heard all kinds of crude language, especially aimed at her because she was a Squib.  Harry probably heard bad language while wandering Hogwarts, some teens have nasty mouths and he would have picked it up that way.  But Severus will keep a handle on it, never fear.

Excellent writing, as usual. I really want to string up Throckmorton like he did Argus. Good interaction between all the kids. Kudos, friend.

Author's Response: me too.  I have something very nasty and fitting for him, however.  Glad you liked all the kids.  You'll see the wand-breaking ceremony next and the outing at the lake.  It should be fun to write the next one, since I've never read about an expulsion ceremony anywhere, and that means I've got leave to create a whole new scenario.  Should be very interesting . . .

awww that was so sweet! Sev is just so perfect with them!

Author's Response: Yeah, he's trying his best.  And doing a pretty good job of it, right?

Brilliant! Go Albus! Now let's get Throckmorton, Severus.

Author's Response: Yes, yes! And Sev will get his man, I promise!

Yes, about time, Dumbledore made an example at the hopefully right time! And I really, really hope that the horrible defense teacher will be next (and isn't in league with Lucius and out to hurt Holly and Narcissa!)

Author's Response: You'll see more of the example Dumbledore maakes of Cross at the wand-breaking ceremony in two chapters.  And Throckmorton will continue skulking about preaching his wicked propaganda until Severus manages to gather enough evidence to sack him.  As for wwho he works for . . .that too shall be revealed soon.  You can read about the Malfoys meeting with Holly right now, as I've updated.

I like Albus's attitude here very much! "Hunt well, my falcon" - very nice.

Curious to see how Draco will handle the meeting...

    Author's Response:

Oh good, I was worried he seemed a bit too stern, but given what's been going on I think he needs to be.

That was one of my favorite lines too--I've always thought Sev resembled a peregrine falcon. :) Glad you picked up on that.

As for Draco, you can see how the meeting goes right now, since I've updated.

Well, now that was a surprise! But I'm glad Albus stuck to his guns and expelled the little . . .anyway, here's hoping the meeting between Draco & Holly goes well and that Snape nails Throck the crock-morton

Author's Response: Yes, a lot of people really want that guy kicked the you-know-what out of.  Can't blame them, he really is a wicked man, as you'll see.  Wicked and sly.  As for draco and Holly's meeting you can read about it now!
