Reviews For Snow Girl & the Sorcerer's Son
Author's Response: Yes, something should, and maybe it did. *winks* Umm . . .I can't answer that, it contains spoilers. Wait till next chapter.
The tale was really interesting, Mila Author's Response: Yes, it was, but this whole mess will be resolved one way or another with the next post. Glad you liked Herne's story, he's an interesting character.
Author's Response: I know, he has a tragic story, but at least one of his descendants still lives.
But I want a happy ending. Update soon, please!!!!!!!!!!!!! Author's Response: Yes, the Hunter has a tragic ending even in myth, and it was a good thing Holly is his descendant, otherwise this tale might have had a tragic ending too! I'll try and update soon, promise!
Author's Response: Thank you!
Yikes, I don't like Thockie and Lucius but I really don't want to see them killed either, but I'm guessing that it will be one or both of these two. I'm so glad he refused to kill poor Holly; she's just an innocent child! Please excuse my ignorance, but this is an acutal tale from folklore, the Wild Hunt and Herne? That's so interesting, and the way that you've moulded it to fit your story. Author's Response: Yes she is and it's a good thing too, otherwise he would have had to take her in payment. The hunt must be paid, that's the law of the blood magic they summoned up. Herne technically couldn't kill her, because she's his blood, but he also did not want to either. Yes, there are many stories about the Wild Hunt and Herne the Hunter in Celtic mythology, I just took them and tweaked them a bit for my story. The original Wild Hunt tale has a bunch of origins, such as they were created by the devil, or witches, or something, for me I had them created by a jealous fairy lover. And Herne is also in British folktales, though in them he was a forester who was hung by a landlord for a crime he didn't commit, and he comes back and leads the Wild Hunt in vengeance. And some tales also have him as the God of the Wood, ruling over wild things and hunting, sometimes called Cernunnos the Horned One, for the pair of stags horns on his head.
Actually poor Draco as well, to have such a heartless bastard as a father.OOh, gotta go to the next chapter and hopefully read about a happy ending! :) Author's Response: And you'd be right, he doesn't want to kill her. Yes, Severus could never choose between them, poor guy, it would tear him apart. And poor Draco too, he needs to get the heck away from Lucius.
That's a no brainer...Lucius Fantastic work on that chappie! Author's Response: Right and what about Throckmorton? He wa sin on it too. Thanks for that one and hope you enjoy the rest of this!
Author's Response: yes he is, and it's going to HURT! And thanks for the enthusiasm too!
Author's Response: They certainly do! Stay tuned and we'll see if Herne can't make that happen next chapter! |
