lol... if you do a prequel make sure to include a link... but anyway, great chapter... this is kind of a lite story- i mean, abuse yeah and it's sad, but it's a family story and he's so little that it's still kind of lite... it's a good break from the harsh angst that's normally on this site- i like those, too, but this lets me breathe a little

Good chapter--I enjoyed the part with Minerva and the pictures. I'm glad you're adding Remus; he's such a good guy. While I'd honestly enjoy reading some scenes where James and Lily love Harry, I don't think I'd want to read the prequel parts about the Dursley's because I already know what's going to happen and it would be a sad ending. I hope you update this soon--I can't wait to read about the feast!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review, Remus is one of my characters too. I thought about doing the prequel just to show that the Dursley's didn't take Harry in to start beating him and call him Freak. Although they were very wrong to treat him the way they did, they had their reasons for it. It should have been solved another way, but they didn't think about that.
Sweet and sad - I hope Severus can manage to persuade him that he does deserve his name in the end. If you want to write a prequel, I suppose you could always split the chapter in half and write about what Severus was doing at that time and then write something like 'little did Severus know that he'd one day be the Guardian of the Boy Who Lived.' I think that would let you get away with putting it on P&S. But, anyway - lovely story and I'm really glad that updating so quickly. Looking forward to the feast!

I was so sure Harry would say his name in this chapter! But the photo albul idea was great, I loved this scene with Minerva.

Hi
Great story but have you thought about either getting an English beta or formally transposing it to America? This bunch really don't sound very English and it affects the flow of your story.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I'm Canadian, not American. I've read that people hate it when writers don't try to write it like English though. And no one will beta for me, I asked around before I started to write it. No one wants to beta an abuse story.
so far i love this story. i always love finding a new story! i cant wait until the next chapter is up. i'm going away for 3 weeks tho and i leave tomoro so i think i'll have plenty of updates to read when i get back!!!!
