Don't let anyone put you down about this story!
I started reading it an hour ago and I truly love it. One of my favourites. I love highly original and Alternate Universe stories. I hate it when Snape remains in character and treats Harry like a git. Your Severus Snape is believable if a little rough on the outside. The only thing I didn't like was when you mentioned that most Slytherins were abused; I believe they'd be treated better due to their 'pureblood'.
Other than that little tidbit for me, I extremly enjoy this story.

Good start--I like when Ron calls McDonald's McDoogals, lol. I feel bad about what Harry's in store for though and I hope Snape is there to take him away from it soon, even though being with him probably won't be that great either. One small error you might want to correct is that you call Harry a she instead of a he in the part about McGonagall. All in all, good first chapter!
