Reviews For Resolution
I wonder what else he's going to do to Harry for taking the book without asking? Update soon! Author's Response: hehe - thank you :) Couldn't resist. Next chapter will be up soon - and tempers will be lost on both sides, however I will leave it to you to guess who manages to control theirs...
Author's Response: I actually have the next chapter written - it's just a matter of checking it over now. I'm really glad you're enjoying this. Thanks for reviewing! Be warned for drama next chapter...
Poor Neville - what a blow for him! Is Harry going to be resorted? (Btw 10 mites after sorting should be Dumble’s speach or the meal/feast - shouldn’t Snape wait after the feast?) Mila Author's Response: Thank you. I know, poor Neville, however, I am confident that he'll be able to pull through for Harry! Harry isn't going to be resorted - he hasn't really changed his personality, just one of his parents. Besides, I'm sure Hermione and Ron will let Harry know if anything important is said (I hope, at least...) Maybe I should have a chat with them...
I was so sad to see Know Thyself end. This whole story is so wonderful. Please don't ever stop writing. ;-} Okay now for the review: I loved Harry pretending to be someone else at the beginning, that was so funny. And when Harry brought out the book and was showing it to the others, their reactions were so perfect. I think that you managed to get each of their characters perfectly. I especially liked Ron and Hermione's reactions. I loved that Ron and Nev. knew exactly what the book was. Most people forget that Ron is a prueblood, and would know a lot of things about the older families. Hermione's reaction was wonderful too. I could just see what she was thinking, 'Oh an old book, I want to read it.' ;-} It is a really great story and I can't wait to find out what Severus has in mind for Harry and what on earth is chewing on Shadow's ankle. ;-} Leilia Author's Response: Well, I'm glad you've found the sequel, then :) It's a relief to hear that you think the Gryffindors are in character... I wasn't sure when I first wrote them, and it's great that you're enjoying it so far. Next chapter, hopefully the story will really start to kick off. Be warned for the confrontations ahead... Thanks for reviewing!
you're killing me! Author's Response: I think I'm actually not going to make Dumbledore announce it - you know, leave it until the last minute until the teacher calls out his name in class... heh heh, I'd love to see the looks on everyone's faces. But, anyway, you'll see what I'll do! Hopefully you'll like it even better than the conventional method!
Anyway, this was my favorite part of this chapter: “What? He... him... you... He, you? You... you, who?” LOL, I loved Ron's crazed reaction so much. Hilarious. Can you remind me what Salem does to torture the pet shop lady? Sometimes I get so caught up in the big details of a story that I forget small ones, like what is so special about Harry's pet snake. Anyways, I really hope Snape goes easy on Harry. This is not going to help his friends get a good opinion of Snape at all. I think this whole father-son thing will probably take on a new dynamic now that they are at school and under stress as well as scrutiny. Let's hope they can make it through the hard times that are sure to come! -P.G. Author's Response: Now that I've noticed, I want to keep it going too! Unfortunately, I may have to end up breaking the pattern some time in the future, but I'll give it a go! I'm glad you liked Ron's reaction - it amused me too :) I don't think I've said anything specific about Salem and the pet shop lady - just that they didn't like each other. I might fit something in next chapter. Snakes that can survive in almost any temperature can get up to a lot of mischief... As for Snape - you shall see. And if he does end up making a mistake... well, he's new to this too! Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: The confrontation will take place next chapter :) I meant to fit it in this one, but it started getting too long. Pity... Thanks for reviewing!
Sorry for the caps......caps lock got away from me. Author's Response: heheh - thank you. Love the caps :D
And of course, I want to know what Shadow is up to. But go ahead and take as long as you need to to write the next chapters. A well written chapter that takes longer to arrives is far better than a quickly written chapter that isn't very good. In any case, bravo! Dancingkatz Author's Response: Thank you - I really was quite dubious about this chapter, and the fact that I couldn't fit in the confrontation scene annoyed me. You know - it's still a toss up if I actaully want Dumbledore to announce Harry's identity. I mean, telling the teachers is logical because they need to actually know who the new kid attending their classes is (lol) but in my old school, the Headmistress never introduced students to the general populace - their just turned up. So, as I said, 50/50 at the moment. Shadow's chapters are going to be less frequent than the others, but I definitely won't abandon them. Anyway - thanks for reviewing, and I'm really glad you enjoyed it :) |
