Hopefully Harry won't assume the worst about the potion--that would be a creepy punishment, consuming an unknown potion. I bet Hermione knows what it is though, so it should be okay.

Let's hope nobody thinks Harry is the teacher's pet after he got away scab free even though he didn't know the answer to Snape's question.

    Great chapter!

    Author's Response:

heh heh - fingers crossed. That would be evil... Expected converation will take place next chapter - I'd be interested to see what you think of it. Thanks for reviewing! In the mean time, I shall try to keep Harry's classmates under control!

I see that you are drawing out the suspense as we wait for Snape and Harry to have a discussion. I actually found myself feeling just a LITTLE sorry for Snape -- he knows he is out of his depth here with Harry. This is good, though, because he will be less sure that he's right about everything and more willing to listen to Harry and compromise. And Harry realizes too that he has been rude and done wrong. Of course, he still thinks of Snape as a cruel person -- not a comforting thing to think of one's caregiver, especially with Harry's history of caregivers.

Liked the possible foreshadowing with the ball.

Author's Response: Well... you caught me - yes :) However, I can promise that the expected conversation will occur next chapter - I'd be interested to see what you think of it. Thanks for reviewing!

I'm guessing its a calming draught.

Poor kid, he's all upset because he let his dad down.

And Snape has no idea how sensitive children are to the comments of their parents!

Author's Response: Might be... but then again... it might not... heh, I'm annoying, sorry. They'll sort themselves out... Hopefully I'll be able to post the next one soon-ish. Thanks for reviewing!

That bell sounds really cool. Could it maybe summon Shadow if rung properly?

And I liked how Severus called Harry Mr. Snape and everyone just about died. LOL! I mean really . . .did they not think he was going to call his son by his name? That part made me laugh.

But I hope Sev calls his son down to his rooms soon and has a talk, they really need to have one.

Author's Response: It has a lot of potential, doesn't it? But I think I'll keep its ultimate use a secret for now. I'm glad you're enjoying - next chapter should be the one where they finally talk! Thanks for reviewing!

elcsüggedt is Hungarian for disheartened, downhearted so you could continue your alphabet properly, just not in english! lol. Poor Harry, having a flashback to previous potion class and Snape doesn't understand just how bad it has been for him in that class.

Author's Response: Now, that sounds like a brilliant idea! Other languages - love it! Harry did have a flashback, but it wasn't to Potions class... I seriously considered doing that, but I changed my mind at the last minute - hopefully, I'll be able to update soon! Thanks for reviewing!

man, i was hoping for a bit longer a chapter. still, it was really good. harry must have thought snape was being an arse on purpose, bringing up the bezoar again like the first class when he berated harry. hope you update soon!

Author's Response: Well, I can promise that the next one will be longer (and will contain the expected scene!) I won't say anymore now - I don't want to spoil it, but thanks for reviewing! :)

Short, yes, but very effective. Harry really needs to calm down so he can remember stuff and communicate better.

I lvoe the idea of Vivemancy and I can just imagine what the bell sounds like. I am suspecting that the bell will prove important later on in the story but won't ask you to verify my suspicions. I'm very much looking forward to the next chapter.

    Bravo!

Author's Response: Thank you! I did think he needed a bit of extra space before they 'talked' to each other. I'm really glad you like the bell - apart from the fact I thought Harry really did deserve a bit of a break from his emotions, you're right about its significance... Hopefully the next chapter will be ready soon(It contains the scene that everyone's been waiting for, but possibly not in the way they expect)! Thanks for reviewing!
