Accident; if I ever get another pet, I'm naming it accident. :P

I quite enjoyed this fic and its prequel. I love Harry's character and Snape's, and I'm especially happy you didn't decide to get rid of Shadow for good. I've grown rather attached to him.

If I ever decide that it would be worth it to get an account on here, i will be sure to pick you as a favorite author. :D

    Good luck with future chapters!

    Author's Response:

Heh heh, well it's wonderful that my pink thing inspired you :D

I'm really glad you're enjoying the story! More shall hopefully be on the way soon, but the plot is being difficult at the moment... Love your nick btw!

The last part, in the Mirrorverse, is kinda a lot confusing. But Sev/Harry interaction is always great

Author's Response: Hmm, I did cut it a bit short, didn't I? Never mind - you could get away with ignoring all the Mirrorverse and not missing out on the actual story, so don't worry about it. I'm glad you liked it otherwise!

You added to the intro! Nice touch!

Author's Response: I did indeed! Heh, thank you ;)

    I like them too, hehe!

I am glad that Severus changed his mind and freely admitted that he was wrong to Harry, it's important for him to know that Sev can make mistakes too and I think that was something that really helped their relationship.

I like Kai, he sounds really cool, though it's sad to think that he could be utterly wiped out of existence. Are Mages immortal? And is Aki his familiar? Will Kai help Shadow get free of the Mirrorverse?

    Author's Response:

Ah, that's a relief! :D I like reading them too - the latest one in your new story is brilliant (yes, the story I keep forgetting to review, dammit!)

I did enjoy writing the make-up scene - their fight was making me sad. I'm glad you liked it! I seem to have both helped and hindered their relationship in that regard...

Writing Kai was fun - he's been in my head for a while and it was great when I realised he would be perfect to help move Shadow's part of the plot along. Mages can be immortal - they age along with the rest of us but this process stops once they get to around 100 (venerable, think Dumbledore!) Most of them at this point choose to take poison and die along with their family, but there have been a few that have chosen not to. Yes, Aki is Kai's familiar and yes, Kai will help Shadow, but in a more round-about way than first imagined. Thanks for reviewing!

hmmm, now that I call a twist. Kai’s a real surprise. I’m curious where it will lead us.
    How old is Harry, again?
    Mila

Author's Response: Hope I didn't give you whiplash ;) I'm planning the next Shadow bit, but they may not come up for a while yet... Harry is 14 in this fic, and while I originally planned to go along the usual Goblet of Fire plotline, I think I've changed my mind to inculde something else. After all, Voldemort is already 'back' at this time and it would give me more room to manuevour... Thanks for reviewing!

I liked the fact that Snape was able to get Harry to talk about what was really bothering him, although I'm not sure what Snape intends to do to help Harry cope with that besides comfort him. I liked the fact that Snape decreased the amount of time that Harry has to go Quidditchles/broomless although I'm hoping a Quiddith game doesn't happen before Harry gets the Firebolt back. Your explanation of Snape's responsibilikty for the book and possible Azkaban stint was good since it made Snape's extreme reaction to Harry's theft more understandable. And it was nice that he didn't want Harry to know about that so he wouldn't feel quilty. Writing lines is OK, I guess.

To be quite honest, I'm not so sure about the Shadow and Snape Mage thing. I'm not overly fond of really strange creations, but am willing to keep an open mind as you continue with this fic.

    Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked that bit - I have a couple of ideas of what Snape will do planned; rest assured, he won't abandon Harry. And Harry will be able to play Quidditch again before too long!

Don't worry about the whole Mage thing if you don't like it - I'm not planning to keep Shadow with Kai for too long, he's just a plot device. Besides, it would be entirely possible to skip over all of the Shadow bits until the end of the story and not lose any of the plot, so feel free to do that if you fancy. Thank you for your review!

Good chapter! I do like how Sev has revised his punishment and I think Harry has found it agreeable. I also enjoyed Shadow and the cat, lol, especially it's name. This is very creative, though I'm a bit worried that Kai is looking for Harry, because that seems like it might be a bad thing. It also sounds like his magic might be a bit tainted in comparison to Harry's, so he might not be quite the good mage that he says he is.

I look forward to reading more!

Author's Response: Thank you - it was difficult to think up a 'proper' punishment for Harry, especially as I didn't want to erase the underlying message, but I'm glad you think it works. hehe - I just thought 'Accident' was a rather appropriate name for a pink cat! Plus, it has a nice short form too. I think I'll be secretive about Kai at the moment though... I'm hoping the next update will be soon be writer's block seems to have caught me in its jaws - I daresay we'll find out soon enough!

Oh, I love this chapter. That was very thoughtful of Snape to lessen Harry's punishment, but still make it severe enough for Harry to learn a lesson. Well done as usual.

I'm really curious how things will devleop wit the mage, the pet and the alternate universe.

I'm so glad that you've updated, and I'm so anxious to read the next chapter, which I hope we won't have to wait to long for!

    Author's Response:

Ah, it took me ages to come up with a better punishment that was still strict. I didn't want to make Snape out to be too harsh or too much of a pushover, so it's a relief to hear that you think it fits!

As usual, I am taking writing Shadow's part slowly, so it may be a while before his next update... however, I am thinking about it already so it may not end up being too far away! I've already started on the beginning of next chapter, but have hit a bit of a brick wall, so I can't honestly say the next update will be soon, but let's hope it'll be that way anyway. Thanks for reviewing!

I have to admit that I am both confused and intrigued. I can't wait for the next chapter so I can figure it out.

Author's Response: I shall try to clear up the confusion as soon as I can though I'm planning to fit in a couple more of Harry and Snape chapters before then - however hopefully it will be sooner than later!,
