Interesting... I don't think I've read a scenario before where Snape and Harry mutually agreed that things were happening too fast and put them on hold. I'm excited to see where this goes.

Author's Response: I thought it would be interesting to shake them up a bit... but I DO have a plan for it ;)

I cant wait to see where you are going with the whole thing and hope you are able to update soon :)

Author's Response: I'm glad you're enjoying them both so much! Don't worry about what Severus is doing (the nutter) for I have a cunning plan... ;) Thanks for reviewing!

Thanks for updating. I'll try to give you a completely honest review. I liked chapter 13 a lot. I thought that Harry's reaction to Snape's attitude when Snape returned him to the Tower was very understandable. Snape was hurt, so he was a little cold towards Harry and Harry intepreted that as Snape not caring about him. So Harry withdrew mentally. Lots of angst (and I love it! LOL) But then at the end of the chapter, Snape offered to let Harry forget about their relationship for a while. I understand why Snape offered that and you certainly showed Snape's pain at that. Good job, but . . . . I would have expected Harry to see that as Snape wishing to distance himself from Harry -- another way that Snape could get away from having to be a father to Harry. Sure, Snape said he would be there for Harry to talk to, etc., but I think Harry could have thought that Snape was just saying that. So, anyway, I was kind of disappointed that Harry didn't have more of a reaction to Snape's words. I also thought that Snape was unfair to only chastise Harry after his confrontation with Draco. Even if he does talk to Draco later, the chastisement of Harry was public and could have been very humilating for Harry. Plus, of course, there is the fact that Draco was taunting him about something that Harry really does fear (i.e., Snape doesn't want Harry really). So I expected Harry to be more upset about all of that -- not just angry, but hurt.

Anyway, just my thoughts. I really am enjoying your story, especially the Snape/Harry interaction.

Author's Response: Thank you for your honest review - I'm glad you enjoyed it all despite Harry's odd reaction. I was working on the principal that Harry was feeling pressure from all directions and Snape finally realised this - giving him a convenient out while proving that he didn't have to try so hard. However, it's fine if you still consider it odd - it's just how I see it. I will have Harry give it a bit more thought next chapter though! Anyhoo, I'm still creating a few situations, so we'll see - glad you love the angst, 'cos there's bound to be more of it! Thanks again for your all-round comments - I always find those helpful!

Good I didn't want him to be! he's a cool character. I hope that Shadow finds a way back from the Mirrorverse and to the world where Harry is.

I think he's the only one who can talk or maybe shake some sense into Harry.

I'm so glad you updated, I did too!

Author's Response: Thank you! I live in fear of MarySue/GaryStus *shudder* Yes, it does seem that way, doesn't it? I promise he's getting closer to home with every step! Thank you for reviews - I'm glad you're enjoying!

Aww poor Severus! I felt for him here, he was really trying so hard to be there and Harry just kept pushing him away.

I nearly wanted to cry when he said Harry didn't have to acknowedge their relationship anymore.

I hope Harry realizes what Seve just did and goes back and tells him he's sorry that he needs a parent and was stupid to throw it away like that.

Author's Response: I did feel very mean for doing that to him... but hopefully something good will come from it. Oh, all right, something good WILL come of it... but I'm not done with them yet!
