Oh, why am I getting the feeling that Sev is going to hit the roof when he finds out that Harry is the hawk. I just can't wait to see his reaction! Author's Response: Umm . . .because that would be a typical Snape reaction? Thanks, I'm starting to feel better. Next chapter is going to be a tearjerker and funny as well, you'll see how that's possible.
I'd like to see the first meeting between hawk!Harry and Dumbledore. And it would be funny if Harry made comments about the headmaster when only Snape can understand him... Author's Response: It would indeed, and how did you know that's what I had planned? For part of that chapter, anyway. The rest will be pretty angsty. Make that very angsty. I'll try to post soon as I'm up to it.
I hope the Slytherins make Draco clean toilets too! Author's Response: Yes, that could happen. And why wouldn' t they? That's what a house elf does, isn't it? *chuckles evilly*

As in all of your stories, another brilliant chapter. I loved Severus and Harry!Hawk conversing. I often will talk to my pets, and have wondered what they might say to me if they had the ability to communicate with me. You did a wonderful job of bringing a voice to a beautiful creature. ;-} I also love the bits of falconry that you are putting in. I love this subject, and would love to have the privledge of owning one of these magnificant creatures, but it is illegal to own creatures that one can find in the wild where I live. So I have to content myself with reading everything that I can find on them. :-} Needless to say I was thrilled when I found your story and how much effort and research I can tell you are putting into it. I can't wait for the next installment. ;-} And speaking of next installments... you said something about possible sequels for Arms of a Dark Angel and Heir to Snape Manor, are there any ideas for these or are they just on the shelf for right now? I was just wondering because I love these stories and would love to see them continued. ;-} Leilia Author's Response: So have I. I always used to wish I was Dr. DoLittle when I was a kid, talking with animals seemed so darn cool! It's illegal here in NJ too, unless you have a license and to get one you need to pay big bucks and take all these courses and have certain types of housing and everything, which I'm not rich enough to do. But that's why I write stories, so I can do everything in them I can't in RL. 'm glad you see how much research I'm putting in here, i spend hours on the web on different sites reading about hawks and falconry just so i can have Severus and Harry behave like a hawk and falconer. And there will be a time when Harry flies and Severus has to call him in and the strength of that bond will be tested then. yes, I do have ideas for sequels, but can't write them now as I'm writing this one and another Sev/Lily romance called Irresistable Chemistry on ff.net. But I will eventually get back to them, I just need to devote all my energy to them otherwise they won't turn out right. Anyway, hope you enjpy the next chapter, I'll be posting it as soon as I can.

Heh heh heh...sounds like you've got Severus headed towards realizing that yes, actually, he does *so* give a darn about the Potter brat; right before he realizes that the kid's wearing feathers and sitting right on his shoulder. The question must be, is Harry going to develop enough of an understanding for how Snape's put together to interpret the explosion for what it is? (I'd imagine next chapter ought to bring home that Snape's life ain't been all rosy, and they've got a whole lot in common--even if Harry doesn't remember yet) And more importantly--will Harry keep his new Name?? Oh, it's gonna be so much fun to watch! =] Author's Response: LOL! You're right. if those two eve rmanage to get together, i think the whole school would need a Calming Draft! I just loved the part when Harry groomed Snape, I felt it was so appropriately . . .hilarious. And yes, Severus will eventually admit that he cares for Harry, and Harry hopefully will recall Snape's insecurities as well when Severus realizes just who he's been pouring his heart out to all those weeks. You're right about the next chapter, though. I'd advise you to get some Kleenex.
Author's Response: Harry doesn't want to betray him either, but at first Sev will feel a bit like that, it's ineveitable, given that he's such a private person and not accusotmed to sharing his inner thoughts with anyone, especially Harry of all people.
