Reviews For Broken Wings
--his
Author's Response: It really is an amazing bond and because of it, Severus will gain a valuable friend in harry. I kind of wanted him to stay a hawk too, but . . .he's needed as a human wizard. I loved that part. Sev really didn;t know what to expect and he was just so relieved and happy that Freedom returned. Finally someone actually didn;t abandon him.
Author's Response: Yes, he did and he waited long enough for it! Well, Hagrid ought to, since he is the gamekeeper and rehabilitated a hawk before. But it was a learning experience for both of them, Freedom and Sev I mean.
Lesley~ Author's Response: Thank you, I loved writing this part, since I adore watching hawks flying. After this, no, nothing can compare with being a hawk and really flying. He'll know the difference immediately.
Author's Response: A lot will go on, as you'll see when you read future chapters. Thank you!
And when Freedom came back to Severus, that was just beautiful! Author's Response: Thank you! I love birds of prey, especially hawks. Actually I love all animals, and usually have at least one in a story. That was my favorite part, making Severus happy and restoring his faith in the bond they shared. He really needs that.
Author's Response: Thank you! I really wanted to get into the hawk's mind in order to write this, since it's so cool to imagine what it would be like to fly. I wanted to have Sev be surprised at the end, and he was!
Author's Response: Yes, funny how that happens. Well, hawks are kind of self-centered and so are teenagers sometimes, and right now Harry's both, so . . .he won't notice just how glad Sev is at his return until much later.
Author's Response: Thanks, I've already posted the next chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks and here's a tissue! |
