Reviews For Broken Wings
Umbridge is a dreadful creature, she got what was coming to her! Desert is definitely the highlight of the evening :D Picturing the vile woman landing face-first into that trifle really made me grin, as did Severus and Trewlany's comments, hehe. Oh Freedom, you loveable menace... It really stinks that Umbrideg is on such a high-horse. I hate to think what that toad could be planning in retribution for her humiliation. I sense a similar sentence as Buckbeak’s in the future… I'm really curious about how Harry will react to recalling more memories, and hope to read the next chapter soon :) Author's Response: Me too! She is so nasty, anything you do to her is funny! Yes, you could be right, once she is in charge . . .Merlin help Freedom . . .and Severus!
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm really glad you liked what I did with them!
Nice way to slip in a foreshadowing prophecy, there. Two hawks...either Snape's going to go animagus, or maybe it's referring to his hawk-like soul...food for thought! Gotta love prophecy--it's so ambiguous, until hindsight renders it "perfectly" clear. Though it sure seems Snape and Harry together are needed to off ol' moldy-shorts--to "teach death to die". Hm. Methinks Draco's gonna get in hawk-trouble again. Is Crabbe scheduled for rehabilitation? Ooo! OOOo! I know! Minerva can convince *Vincent Crabbe* to become Snape's new apprentice!! ::falls over laughing:: The kid might be dens--er, stubborn enough to stick with it, if Snape "saves" him from his old man's displeasure; and he'd certainly drive Snape batty within two weeks!! ::snickers:: I can't wait for Freedom to start mentioning his returning memories to Snape. Countdown begins! ::making sure my blast shelter is ready to dive into:: Author's Response: I know . . .but we wouldn't Harry arrested for murder . . .though it could just look like a slip and fall. *snicker* He did and then some! Yup, that's the beauty of prophecy, it never means what you think it does . . .until it happens. And I would say, yes, both of them are needed to kill off Voldy. Great idea. Poor Sev would definitely be insane, but you're right, Crabbe would be grateful if Sev saved him from Dad's wrath. Yes, the countdown is coming! 10 . . .9 . . .8 . . .
God, I loved that scene! Can't you just see the pink toad covered in strawberry trifle! Well done, mate! Author's Response: Yes! And it's cracking me up! Too bad nobody had a camera, HAHAHA! Thanks, Zara!
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I'm starting to agree with you, though Angel and Prince Manor are up there too on my top 10.
Author's Response: Ooh, now that's a good one! And then we'd be RID of her! Wonder if that would be considered murder though?
"Someday, Mr. Snape, I am going to give you an apprentice, a wet-behind-the-ears potions apprentice to mold, and let him drive you crazy."--Forshadowing, perhaps? I think Harry would be a good apprentice for Sev with a bit of practice. -P.G. Author's Response: The hawk's revenge! LOL! And Trelawney's too, now that I think on it, because she made Umbridge look like an ass! You're right, the Slytherins will help him later on, once they get over the shock that Snape's familiar was Harry. It could be. Harry would make a decent apprentice if he put his mind to it . . .and he already drives Severus crazy.
Author's Response: Yeah, he did, didn't he? I was going to do it to the wicked witch too, but then I thought of the dessert idea! We all love to hate her . . .and Lucius and Voldy! Thanks and I will!
Author's Response: Yes, it was an apt pun, Sev's clever like that, and he DOES have a sense of humor. Sarcastic, but it's there. It was fun to write and yes, with Umbridge in charge, things are going to get a lot nastier! Plus Harry/Freedom will be going through a tough time as well, disocvering his past.
Ooh, Harry is getting his memories back. Ooh, I wonder what will happen then! Author's Response: Yes, that was one of the things I wanted to explore in this story, Crabbe actually having a mind apart from being Draco's shadow. She is, and I do hate her! You'll see Sybill again once more in this fic! Yes, and it's going to be kind of traumatic! Poor Harry! I've updated, BTW. |
