Reviews For Broken Wings
And poor Severus, too. His life has been hard as well, and it's going to be hard for him too, when the truth about his familiar does come out...though it might not happen for a while. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Author's Response: Yes, it's also confusing because some of the memories he's getting back are in bits and pieces, especially in regards to things that happened at school. And he hasn't yet remembered when he transformed into a hawk, so that makes it even more difficult. Plus, some of the memories are so awful, and frightening, that he doesn't want to remember them. He also fears losing Severus, who has been kind to him as a hawk, and protective. Sev has indeed had a hard life, as bad as Harry's in it's way, and it's going to hurt him when he first finds out that the familiar he bared his heart and soul to is the one person he would never trust to keep a secret about himself. It won't happen for awhile yet, though. But when it does . . .
Author's Response: Yes, that explosion is on the horizon. It'll stay there for awhile though . . .you'll see why. Curious about whether or not there will be a relationship in Sev & Harry's future, right? Thanks, Mila!
Wonderful chapter. V. Author's Response: He is and that's the real question . . .what will he do then? It's a tough decision and Harry has to weigh out his options and come to terms that the Snape he knew might not be the true Snape at all, and there is more to his professor than meets the eye. Thanks again for reviewing!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'll try and post soon!
Please update and have Harry transform soon, I can't stand the suspense!! Oh, but then Severus will hate him won't he? Or maybe not if he finds out about those abusive Dursleys! Uh, I'm so worried for Harry. Author's Response: Oops! Forgot about that! He is getting close to recalling who he is and then he has to decide what to do . . .tell or not tell? Severus might not hate him, but he will be very angry and betrayed by him, which is a dangerous combination. It's going to be a rough time for them.
Can't wait for more! -P.G. Author's Response: Thanks! I know, Severus is scared his familiar is ill and poor Harry thinks he's gone crazy. It's a lot for him to absorb. Severus is going to . . .well I won't ruin it, but it's going to be major. I shall try and post again soon!
Can't wait for more! -P.G. Author's Response: Yes, that's going to be quite a shock! For Severus that is! He's going to hit the roof!
The staff dinner was priceless. Author's Response: You're right, but then it would be over too soon, and that's not what I want. Harry still needs to find out a few more things about Dumbledore, Ron and Hermione, and Lily and Sev and James. Glad you liked the dinner, I loved it!
I'm more interested in Severus and Harry and figuring out if Snape has an animagus form that's a bird. Or an animagus at all. I love reading first person! You write it beautifully and I greatly enjoy it - you get to know the character alone, his deepest desires and thoughts, his secret passions and loves... Black Gold is in first person... When can I start bugging you to start writing my sequels, hmm? Update soon, you know I love it. Author's Response: I'll go back to Sev and Harry in a chapter or so. As for that little detail, wait and see! All shall be revealed . . .eventually! I enjoy writing first person too, you can really get inside a character's head that way. I love Black Gold! In a few weeks, LOL! Bye! |
