Reviews For Broken Wings
Author's Response: Great idea and just wait till you see what happens next!
Author's Response: Thanks again! Hope you like what's up next.
Author's Response: Thanks and I'm glad you liked it!
I'm kind of curious about the following statement: "I came back for her and she forgave me for everything and I swore to protect her son and it was not enough! Always too little too late! The last sight her eyes ever saw was the damned Dark Lord." I'm just curious as to when this happens in your timeline; how close is it to when Lily is killed? I find it very interesting that Sev has promised to protect Lily's son before she dies. I hope you expand on how Sev dealt with the fact that she married James because I think that would be a major area of tension between the two if they were to make up. Sev will always see Lily as that perfect witch who got away from him and I think they'd have a bit of a hard time making up because of it at that point in time. It does make me happy though, as I always thought that people who were friends for such a long time would have a hard time parting ways forever like that. I think they could have easily made up if they put a little effort into it and I'm glad you've went that route with this fic. Good work with this chapter--I'm still really looking forward to the moment when Snape finds out who Harry really is! -P.G. Author's Response: That's something that will be brought up in a future chapter, because of course, Severus does resent her for marrying his arch rival. She forgives him a few months before they are betrayed, it takes Voldy a few years before he actually pieces together the prophecy to the point where he's certain he should act upon it. Before that he's too busy killing and gaining power to study the prophecy closely, but once he does . . .and I agree with you about how abruptly Lily broke it off with Severus, over a slip of the tongue and the fact that he was hanging around with some not so nice people. That would have made me mad for a time, but once my friend apologized, I'd accept it and then try and help him see what a big mistake he was making and offer my own friendship in compensation. But then, I'm a forgiving sort of person. That moment is coming, in about two to three more chapters. |
