Good job incorporating canon events into your story! All of the characters are spot on! Very good job. I really liked how Severus punished Harry after Draco's complaint. I love that he's willing to "ground" Harry!Hawk in order to protect him, and I'm glad that Harry seems to have realized this, and got through it okay. Fantastic chapter and great story development! Thank you so much for sharing this with us! Author's Response: Thanks. I felt bad about Hagrid, but at least he knows that he's not to blame and that he has what matters most, friends and a home. You're right, Severus will need all his control to face down Umbridge. That's one of the hard parts about writing an AU, trying to decide what parts fit or don't fit in there and I'm glad I managed to do it right. Yes, that was one thing that they had to address, since Harry's SO impulsive and really needs boundaries, but I didn't want Severus to go overboard, so what he did to just seemed right, firm but not cruel, and Harry realized that he needed it and has started to accept Snape's authority a little. Always glad to share a story and thanks for reading!
Why can't the elves get involed in the overthrow of Umbridge? She is not the Headmaster. They don't have to obey her! Author's Response: Yes, she does and she will get hers eventually! Well, she is in charge of the school and since she is, they are technically bound to obey a wizard if he or she dwells in the castle, at least that's my interpretation of their oath. Plus, she's horrid and probably delights in punishing them or making them punish themselves. Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: I know and I love making her into a villain you love to hate. She really is as bad as a DE and Snape hates her because he knows it and she's so righteous and so phony it makes him ill. At least Voldy never pretended to be anything but evil. Isn't Harry getting tired of being an Animagus. Ew! And what he has to eat! Yuk! Do you ever sleep girl. I cannot believe how quickly you write. Another Cliffie young lady? Ok, I'll try to be patient. I want Harry to become a human, I'm just dying to see Sev's reaction. Well, I am and I'm not. I'm scared too. But I'm hoping that he'll not react too badly. Ok, enough, go get five minutes sleep and write! Aw, just kidding. You are quick with your updates, so I'll give you a break! Author's Response: Well, yes and no. Harry likes the freedom of being an Animagus--no curfew, no school, and he can prank Umbridge to death. And yes, some of what he has to eat does sound gross to a person, but as a hawk, it tastes and looks delicious. But I'd never touch it as a person. Yes, a few hours a night, LOL! Yup, I'm known for them! Harry will become human next chapter and then you can see how they react. And I've updated it so . . .go read!

Also I think that Freedom should have talk to Severus who he is before he changes back. And hopefully Severus will have good common sence to not kicks him from his quarters. With situation which is in the castle, I muse with the idea that Harry would be better if he doesn't come back to the school and waited until Dumbleadore is back; than there should be no problem with getting back and take his OWLs. ...Perhaps Severus could teach Harry in his quarters at the same time Harry plays Freedom outside of the walls... (But there is my imagination getting wild) =o) P.S.: Sorry for mistakes, I'm not native speaker of English =o) Byeh each other and come with some plan, how to get rid off Umbridge...and Voldemort too.
