That bitch!! She just makes my blood boil!!!! It wasn't the right time or place yet for freedom to tell snape yet. I am hoping this wont ruien the friendship or bond that has grown between them. Great chapter, as always!
Author's Response: You're right. It was too soon, but she forced his hand. Ah well, you'll see what happens next.
Yes! Finally! It's been annoying me loads about the fact that Harry hadn't changed yet.
Author's Response: It wasn't the right time then, but it sure is now!
Wow, what an entrance! Go, Harry/Freedom!
Can't wait to see the fallout with Severus.
Author's Response: Harry knows how to make an entrance all right! Ah, and that will not be pretty! Not at all.
Happy belated birthday. :)
Author's Response: Thank you very much!

Love this chapter and the previous one-- I'm cheering both Dumbledore's dramatic exit as well as Harry's entrance. If I had to criticize one part, I find the start of this chapter a little awkward. The exposition about Umbridge's beliefs is necessary, but some unknown narrator just breaks in a tells us-- better to tie it to a memory or event.... Still, I love the bit about Draco and Marrietta last chapter-- better than cannon. Here's wishing you tea and cream cakes on your B-day (even if it's well after now...).
Author's Response: I wanted to give Marietta a more concrete reason to betray her friends than in canon, and it just made sense she would do it for a crush--like many another woman or girl before her. Thanks for the birthday treats! And thanks for reading!
Happy Belated Birthday--I hope it was fabulous. My goodness, that's quite a cliffie you left there. Good thing I don't have to wait, lol (sometimes it's good to fall behind!). Well, at least Sev is safe, but Harry is definitely up a river without a paddle right now. His transformation was effective, but impulsive. Poor Sev...he seems so shocked... I hope things work out between them.

Author's Response: It was and thanks so much! Yeah, I know what you mean. I had people screaming at me to update in 5 seconds, LOL! Yes, he is and Sev is terribly shocked. Things will be rocky for awhile, but eventually they will come to an understanding.

Author's Response: Thank you! Glad you liked that part, I had to come up with something that would cause harry to spontaneously transform since he didn't know how consciously.

Wow! I loved how you gave reasons for Umbridge's behavior & attitude--so evil! I also loved Snape's comments to freedom before they reached the office "She needs a good purging." Priceless!
But the climax was incredible. You must write more, I need to know--What Happens??
Author's Response: Thanks. I wanted to show that she DID have reasons, twisted ones, but she wasn't a 2 dimensional character. Stephen King said she was one of the best imaginary villains ever created so I was trying to live up to that image. I liked that comment too, Severus is such a wit! Okay, I shall do so!
