Author's Response: Thanks so much1
Author's Response: Wouldn;t that be so cute?? Of course, Harry would probably die . . . Yes Crabbe has finally found himself and Hagrid will be a good mentor to him.
I'm really happy about this mentor/ward development, it's a good idea for several reasons. The other Professor and student match-ups were interesting too, especially Hagrid and Crabbe. I have a feeling that he may need Hagrid's support later on if he decides to oppose becoming a death eater... UMBRIDGE IS DEAD, Halleluiah! :D No one grieves the wicked, I know I won’t. Her death was very satisfying (though morbid) and it really was poetic justice. I also see similarities between it and Trelawney’s prediction. I'm glad Fudge admitted he was wrong about her, and that band is gone for good! Good luck to Harry and Occlumency! And I hope Ron grows up, I hate to see good friends fight. Author's Response: Sometimes Severus surprises me when I'm writing, like he did there. Glad you liked that idea, it came from out of the blue, and you're right, Hagrid could help Crabbe when and if he decides to stand up to his DE father. It's time to have a party, cause the B**** is dead, and the only one who cares is Voldy . . .maybe even he doesn;t care, LOL! Fudge finally got a clue and that band wa sjust begging to be destroyed. Harry's going to need all the luck he can get. Ron will come around soon. And the next one's been posted. Happy reading!
Glad everything worked out with Ministry and I love that Harry and Severus are officialy bonded now. What a big step for the both of them. Can't wait for the next chapter! Author's Response: No, because otherwise I'd be one for writing her death, LOL! I think we all like to see the bad girl get hers, since I was kind of disappointed in canon, I thought she deserved much more than she got. It is a big step and the two of them should hopefully learn how to deal with it to their mutual satisfaction. The next one's up and it has the Occlumency lessons in it.
Love the Snape-Harry bonding moments and I'm so glad Harry told Severus about the Voldemort thing. He needed to know. Can't wait for more! Author's Response: Occasionally Fudge isn't as stupid as he seems. I also enjoy those parts and have updated!
Author's Response: Thanks and what a nice complement!
Author's Response: Thanks1 Hope you enjoy the rest!
Is Severus an Animagus? That's all I want to know, I sear! And what about my e-mail? Did you even /get/ it? What have you been doing that you don't have time to reply to little ol' me? Are you maybe... working on a certain sequel, perhaps? I love Freedom! As for me believing Sev's a bird... Come on. I know you too well. I can just picture the two of them soaring together. Ok, update soon. Author's Response: Yes, and I thought I sent a reply to you. I was sure I did . . . I will be working on that sequel soon AFTER wings. Keep picturing the image in your mind, Julie! 'Cause I'm not telling until . .. it's time for you to know. Sorry about the suspense, but that plotline is crucial to the story. Bye for now!
The *Broken Wings* world is based on a very different relationship between Sev and Harry, but I'm curious about the conflict the lessons are likely to bring. Since the cuff is off, I'm hoping for some Hawk!Harry soon-- just a little, maybe? Author's Response: Oh yes, Hawk!Harry will be making an appearance next chapter. The Occlumency lessons won;t be the total awful disaster they were in canon, although the evil Dumbledore version would make sense. But I have my own version of them and a reason why Severus finds it so difficult to teach it, besides Harry's attitude. Well, here, he doesn;t have an attitude towards learning it, but he does get frustrated and well, you'll see what happens. There will be a conflict though, since it's such a sensitive subject. |
