Reviews For Broken Wings
--his
But now I think Harry has finally made peace with himself and Cedric's ghost. I also loved how Sev held him at the end. Author's Response: He did but Harry did deserve it.
Yes Harry has found his peace over that.
-P.G. Author's Response: Yes, he needed to talk with Severus about Cedric, it was really tearing him apart. And Severus would know best how to handle him, since he felt the same kind of guilt over Lily's death.
Post again soon! Author's Response: Thanks! I wanted them to go dofferently and I hope you would like what I did. The end was tricky too, I didn't want it to be too mushy, but I also didn;t want to lessen the emotional impact.
Author's Response: Aww1 Thank you. Yes, Harry is in trouble with his owl, LOL! You can read about it now.
Author's Response: It was something that had been coming for a long time. I was worried it wouldn't come out right, I didn't want Snape to come on too hard and risk hurting Harry further, but I also didn;t want Harry to get away with talking like that to him. And the lessons are supposed to be difficult, but I didn;t want them to turn into the disaster canon was. The last part was written for myself, because I love Sev/Harry bonding moments. And yes, the update did work!
Boy, Harry could certainly use an anger management class! I'm proud of Severus for keeping his own control, however tenuously. Dealing with cantankerous teens can drive one INSANE! They're all Att-i-tude with no ears. At least Harry knows his temper is a problem! That's the hardest part. I liked the imagery and techniques for the Occlumency lessons, too. Draco sure can put his foot in it! ::snicker:: I think his Black blood is showing--Sirius has that same foot-in-mouth syndrome, but I doubt Lucius has ever exhibited any symptoms. It's good Severus got Harry to talk about his dreams. Canon always drove me wild, the way Harry just miraculously Got Over Stuff, between books and off-scene. I can't wait to see how Ron and Sirius' attitudes are dealt with--and the Dumbledore Confrontation! ::pitching the flak jacket back into its trunk storage and grabbing popcorn, Twix bars and a Mountain Dew in preparation to enjoy the show:: Author's Response: Isn't it though? I love it! I think most teens could do with one, especially at that age. I know where you're coming from with that comment. Anyone who has taught children could sympathize with that. There are times I was like . . .help me God but I want to KILL something! Oh yes, Draco has abit more of the Black family in him than Malfoy. No, Lucius must have been born with a forked or silken tongue, he's a slick one. Yes, that drove me nuts too, but then JKR was going for the Ultimate Hero not a relaistic portrayal of a teenage boy dealing with stuff no teenager ought to. Ron's reaction is posted now, go read it! And thank you!
The photo "manip" is a riot. Author's Response: Thank you! I thought it was hilarious. Her face . . .it's cracking me up and i'm not even looking at it. Hope you like the next part! It's got a pretty big fight between Harry and Ron and a surprise from Severus!
When Harry ran away, I was shocked by his recklessness, yet could understand his state of mind. Hedwig's indignation was finny though, and I hope Harry is prepared for a sound pecking in the near future, lol Author's Response: It was, since the first chapter, as a matter of fact. And that's just what he needs to help him progress further. Yes, harry still has an impulse problem, he's lucky Severus didn't call him on it. You'll see Hedwig in action next chapter, which I just posted!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! Hope you like the next part! |
