Reviews For Broken Wings
Author's Response: Good, I didn't want Voldy's form to be obvious. Even if they had, he still could have come back, since he made the Horcruxes. Sirius is in for a rough time, but he'll have help soon. Thanks as always!
You have a fan in Sweden Author's Response: Aww, thaks so much! I agree, I didn't like the turn the story took after GOF, it was too dark and depressing and some of the things that went on never should have been allowed to. I'm happy you like my story, it was one that just appeared in my head one day and I really like writing it! It really means a lot to me that people appreciate it and are getting as much enjoyment out of this as I am.
Author's Response: I couldn;t resist making Severus a hawk, it just seemed to fit him. And Voldy's gila monster just went together too! Hope you enjoy the next part!
Author's Response: All right, more has been posted! Thanks for R & R ing!
Poor Sirius though! Cursed with eternal torment... just awful. And I thought Rowling was evil! lol. But in all seriousness, I hope you have Sirius pull through, otherwise Harry won’t be the only one upset here... Severus is a smart wizard though, maybe he’ll figure something out? *looks hopeful* The Animagus forms suited them all very well, I think. Voldy as a giant lizard though, sort of amuses me :D Speaking of which *cringes*; Warrior and Freedom’s attacks on both Voldemort and Lucius were brilliant, but disturbing. Curse my visual mind! I’ve always been wary of birds and their talons for that reason alone… tearing someone’s eyes out. Which of course, was only intensified by those crows from the second Pirates of the Caribbean movie. *clears throat* Anyways, the good thing is, it’ll take a while for Voldemort to re-form a body again. Still, with a mind as twisted as that guy’s, who knows what he’ll do... Author's Response: I had a really good time re-writing that battle. As it should have been fought between adults and experienced professionals, not teenagers. Yes, i know, I am evil! You'll have to wait and see about Sirius, otherwise it will ruin an upcoming chapter. Yes, while I was writing those parts, i was cringing and remembering The Birds, by Alfred Hitchcock. Now that REALLY scared me. The crows in POC were bad too, I had almost forgotten about that. Yes, it will take awhile for Voldy to come back with a new body which is good for Harry and Sev since now they have time to hunt for Horcruxes.
I know you too well, Snapegirl. ::grins evilly:: I greatly enjoyed this chapter; I love your interaction between the multiple characters and the way you describe their actions. It truly brings them to life in ways J. K. Rowling wished she could. I was extremely impressed with Warrior and Voldemort's Animagus form. Never, in all my years of reading Fan Fiction, have I ever read one where the Dark Lord is an Animagus. You have picked my interest. At last, you have answered my question. I am glad that Severus is a hawk in this novel - it's very befitting of him. I greatly enjoyed reading the interaction between himself and young Harry. While I love reading your novels, you don't seem to enjoy killing off characters. Is there a particular reason for that? In 'Where Shadows Go' Lily dies but that follows canon with your unique twists due to your own, original series. May I ask if you have ever considered killing any other major characters? Would death not add more - um - depth to the story? When you get around to writing your sequels, I will happily read them. Until then, I shall hapilly finish reading Broken Wings. I'll not make a prediction for next chapter because you could take it either way. I /will/ say that I am eagerly looking forward to reading it, along with more interaction between Warrior and Freedom. As always, Jewels. Author's Response: Aww thanks, Jewels! I thought for sure SOMEONE had done Moldy Voldy as an Animagus before, but I guess not! Wow! I had to make Sev a hawk--he loves them, it fits him, and the prophecy demanded it. No, I rarely kill off characters unless absolutely necessary, I think death should not be something the author takes lightly and just throws in because she/he needs to get rid of a character or doesn't know a way to increase a reader's interest. When I kill a character there is a definite necessity, I would never do what JKR did and kill off half of the good guys and leave a major bad guy alive unless I was planning a sequel. So when a charcater dies in my story, you really feel the impact . . .as I did with Lily and Amelia. Now you can see what happens in the next chapter! Great work on your story too! *smiles*

Author's Response: Thank you! It was a little long, but a lot had to happen during it. The prophecy was one of my favorite parts to create. Harry and Sev will discuss it further next chapter.
SIRIUS NO DIE! *glare* Harry need Sirius so Sirius no die. You understand me. Severus will help Harry and Sirius well help Harry too! Author's Response: Okay, I do understand! Severus will help Harry and maybe even Sirius as well.
Thanks for the great chapter! -P.G. Author's Response: I wanted Severus to really give it to Lucius, and he obliged me nicely. Yay, Sev! I'm not a big fan of Black either, but I agree, if he died now it would be a shame. Thanks, PG and now I have to read your fic!
Great chapter. I an't wait to see what happens net. Author's Response: It took a lot out of me to write that, it was so intense. I'm glad you liked Severus' form it just seemed to be the logical thing to have him transform into. Harry would never forgive himself if Sirius died now. And the next one's up, so enjoy it! |
