I like how your portrayed a softer, emotional side of Snape. I really liked how you flashed back to him caring for his dying mother and how Snape fought hard so he didnt lose a loved one. I like how he seems to be bonding with Harry "The Hawk", not knowing it is him. Maybe this relationship will carry on between the two & eachother will have a higher respect for one another. I cant wait to see that.
Author's Response: I like portraying that side of him, not enough writers do it and he deserves it. That flashback was so painful and yet it was necessary to figure out where Snape was coming from and why he fights like crazy to save the injured Hawk/Harry. Oh, it's the greatest irony of all, that bonding! That could happen. And if it does . . .well, keep on reading, please!
I liked how you portrayed Hagrid as a mentor to Severus. Bout time he gets some credit where credit is due. I cant wait until Snape finds out Malfoy was behind the invasion in his lab! That should be a GOOD confrontation!
Author's Response: Yes, I always thought there was so much more to Hagrid than met the eye. He was at Hogwarts when TR was and probably knows a great deal about what goes on at Hogwarts, more than most people. Oooh when Snape finds out, Malfoy will be dead meat. So very very dead. if I were him I'd be planning a funeral.
Good, finally Harry gave Malfoy a piece of what he deserves! He had it coming sooner or later. Hope Snape gets wind of what he was up to in there. Cant wait to see whan Snape finally discovers the hawk is harry!!

I like how you have kept close to character with these characters as in the Harry Potter series that J.K. Rowland wrote. This chapter made me laugh as Snape bickered about Harry not realizing the Hawk is Harry. Cant wait to read some more!
Author's Response: Yeah, I tried to make them similar to canon, but not exactly and there is a great deal of irony in this fic, since of course Severus is actually taking care of . . .and liking . . .the student he always claimed was an arrogant child just like his father.
