Reviews For Broken Wings
i know what sev is going through as when i was in my teens i rescued two collared doves which had been knocked out of the nest, one had a broken leg and the other was fine, there parents taught them to fly and eventually they flew away Author's Response: I wanted to show Hagrid as more of an adult and less of a bumbler or an overgrown child here. I think he'll make a great mentor for Crabbe just like he did for Severus. That's awesome that you rescued two doves. I fixed up a crow with a broken wing once and let it go once it was better. But then I tried something similar with a robin and it died. So i can sympathize with Severus here a lot, and then there was my beagle . .
anyway its a great start and sev knows how to treat hawks Author's Response: Review as much as you want, since right now I'm working on chapters for Return to Prince Manor and a story on ff.net called Irresistible Chemistry (can't post that on here since it's a Sev/Lily AU Romance), so I won;t be doing a new chapter of this until maybe the end of the week or so. Thanks for reading!
I'm so happy Sev could bring Sirius back! And Bellatrix got hers too, the evil bitch. Harry must be thrilled not only to have his godfather back, but by the unexpected truce between Sirius and Sev. They’re still snippy with each other (as expected), but I'm still pleased right now ^_^ Malfoy's comeuppance rocked! The team was brilliant and all deserved a hand in the prat’s embarrassment. When it all played out I just about laughed my butt off, especially when McGonagall showed up! It was great and seems Sev agrees ;) Best of luck to Harry and Sev in destroying those horcruxes! I'll check out ‘Return to Prince Manor’ next, asap! Author's Response: I know how that goes, believe me. Yes, Sev and Sirius have a truce of tolerance for Harry's sake, and now Sirius owes Sev a life debt too! I so enjoyed that prank and cracked up writing it several times, especially with mcgonagall involved, LOL! I kept thinking of my gran for some reason . . .she would have been speechless! Severus agrees very much! Yeah I have the new sequels to both Prince Manor and the sequel to this as well, Two Hawks Hunting! Enjoy and thanks as always!
Author's Response: Oh, definitely, he watches out for those who need it, students as well as animals. I neve really agreed with how he was portrayed in the books, I mean if he was smart enough to be a wizard and go to school, then he was smart enough to act like a wise mentor type and not a buffoon. I'm of the old school that tends to make my wizards intelligent, not that they can't do stupid things, but on the whole they aren't the "duh" and let's just bash things on the head, that's more like the stereotypical warrior mentality. I figured Hagrid's been around nearly as long as McGonagall and Flitwick, so he should know what's up and because he wasn't a professor, he would see what they missed and be able to notice warning signs in both Sev and Harry, since he was there once too. Thanks for reading!
Author's Response: Draco dislikes any animal he doesn't understand, or he can't bully. But he won't get away with hurting Sev's familiar.
Author's Response: They all do! I love ALL of them! Enjoy amd thanks for reviewing! :)
Author's Response: Yes, it is! I think this is another one that's going to write itself. I'm already working on the next chapter. Well, Warrior is right about Fawkes, LOL!
Author's Response: Aww, thanks! Yes, that was left open on purpose, since I already have ideas for a sequel in mind. Take your time and read when you have the chance, I like it when people savor my fics instead of rushing through them.
Author's Response: That's okay, glad you liked it!
Author's Response: Thanks so much. I wasn't sure if I should leave it there or not, but I think I made the right choice. Am planning and writing the sequel over the next week. And don;t forget to look for the sequel to Heir to Prince Manor. |
