Reviews For Broken Wings
Author's Response: That was one of my favorite parts, him interacting with his familiar, I love it when they banter with each other. You'll see a lot more of that in this next chapter. Though I also enjoy giving Draco his just deserts.
Author's Response: They do and Severus now realizes this, thank goodness. But hagrid made some very persuasive points. I have, so check out the next chappie.
Harry!hawk is acting a lot like Hedwig. I love your story! More soon please. V. Author's Response: He will and Draco is in SOOO much trouble! Stealing from your Head and hurting his familiar to boot is so NOT done. He is, isn't he? Hawks and owls are somewhat alike in the way they display affection. More has been added, thanks for reading!
Author's Response: Thank you and I've just posted the next part, it's cute and funny.
Author's Response: Wonderful! More has been posted!
Is Dumbledore going to catch a clue at some point? The ol' geezer's about as sensitive as a *rock!* ::shakes head:: I kind of hope that when Harry's restored (and Snape's out of the Hospital Wing with a replacement gasket, or two!!) he and Snape can stay bonded, and tell Dumbledore just exactly where he can go when he tries to send Harry back to the Dursleys again... Communication potion next chapter, eh? Ooooh, that's got possibilities! It should certainly make it interesting; whether Severus figures things out before or after Harry is restored to himself. I am *so* glad you don't post monthly or longer; the wait would just kill me! Author's Response: Yes, they'll be wondering why those three are cleaning after hours and stuff, and I'm sure rumors will be floating all over, as usual. You can see Slytherin House's reaction in my next chapter! Well, the old man tends to look at what he wants to happen, rather than what is actually happening. Yeah, that could happen, and probably will, since Harry is going to find out some things about his Headmaster he never knew before, as well as Severus. being able to talk to his familiar is going to make Snape's life very interesting, to say the least. And Sev will start to suspect before Harry comes back. I'm glad you like my speedy updates, I too hate waiting for a story to be updated and wondering if it's been abandoned or something.
Author's Response: I did! It was a great one, thanks! Yeah, its a weird sort of dichotomy, he's a hawk but has human memories, it's confusing for the poor thing. But eventually he'll get his head straightened out.
Can't wait to see what happens when Sev finds out the truth behind his familiar. Author's Response: Good, i wa skind of worried that I did too much to them, but guess not. There will be lots of fireworks and angst when THAT finally happens. Check out what happens next between the Boy Who Became A Hawk and our snarky professor.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review and your ideas as well. That sounds like what my nephew told me they do in his school, in-school suspension, they call it, and there is a name only I forget what it is, and he said his friend got it once for something and it really sucked. He said they were there the whole day and could only do schoolwork and homework and even ate lunch there and it was so boring. It sounds like a really effective punishment.
-P.G. Author's Response: He does indeed, even if he'll never admit it. Harry will be in his hawk form for quite sometime, since he can't recall who he really is and also doesn't know how to change back. And you're right about Severus discovering his familiar is Harry is going to make him freak at first. Until he realizes that he can still have a friend in the boy as well as the hawk . . .if he is willing to overlook the obvious. But that's another battle. |
