I was glad to hear that Harry would stay as Freedom so as not to destroy his newly founded friendship with Snape. I was a bit suprised that he did squak and snip at Snape, I would of figured he would keep things kool so Snape didnt catch wind of anything. Great chapter cant wait to see what progresses!
Author's Response: Yes, he doesn't want to hurt Severus, since he knows how much the man was hurt before. But it's also difficult to reconcile the new Snape with the old one like I said before, so Harry feels awkward and strange. Poor Sev doesn;t know what to think!
I feel bad for Freedom his emotions being torn between how he knows Snape as the hawk and how he knows Snape as the boy he used to be. I hope that him remembering whom he was doesnt affect the bond that has grown between him and Snape as Freedom.
Author's Response: It's very frustrating for him, since he has to reconcile himself with the old Snape who treated him unfairly and the new one, who loves him and treats him like a friend. As for that, you'll see how it affects the bond between them soon! Thanks for reviewing!

Damn Umbridge needs to get bitch slapped, the whole dinner I was gritting my teeth at her snyed remarks and I wanted to slap her everytime she opened her mouth to shut it! I laughed hysterically when Freedom got startled and flew in her face, I would of continued to scare the crap out of her! LOL! Loved how she got humiliated at the end of dinner, tho she deserves way worse. Cant wait to see her get it in the end! :)
Author's Response: You're right, I hate her too! She's so evil and sick. Freedom would have continued to scare her but Severus called him and he had to come in. She will be getting a lot worse than that, just wait and see!
This was an excellent chapter. I was emotional along with Sev, feeling exactly how he felt before letting freedom go. Its amazing how he has grown attatched to Freedom and I like thier emotional and spiritual bond they possess with eachother, so much I actually dont want Harry to turn back. I cried when Freedom came back to Severus and Sev said You...came back. Amazing chapter!!!! By far my fave so far!!!!!! :)
Author's Response: It really is an amazing bond and because of it, Severus will gain a valuable friend in harry. I kind of wanted him to stay a hawk too, but . . .he's needed as a human wizard. I loved that part. Sev really didn;t know what to expect and he was just so relieved and happy that Freedom returned. Finally someone actually didn;t abandon him.
I loved how Snape and Freedom bicker back and forth with eachother, very funny. My fave part was when Freedom said Lets see how well you take your medicine. Made me laugh thinking about how it was reverse a few chapters ago.

I loved reading the interaction between master and familiar. I am in suspense as to what will happen when they find out Freedom is Harry! Love how Snape pick the name Freedom! BRILLANT!!!
Author's Response: Their relationship will continue to improve as master and familiar and once they find out Freedom is Harry . . .well it's going to be a shock! I thought Freedom was a very fitting name for the beautiful red-tailed hawk, since all hawks should be free and by naming the hawk that, Severus has managed to set harry's spirit free.
I am in awe at how Snape is with this hawk, this new familiar. I am looking forward in seeing the improved and growing relationship he and Harry will have after all this. Excellent story line, keep up the great work!
